Step 1: Unpack the Clock
Carefully remove the cuckoo clock from the packaging, handling it with care.

Step 2: Set the Time Before Inserting Batteries
Before inserting the batteries, set the clock to 5:30. Then insert the batteries. This ensures that the cuckoo clock will chime between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM daily. Note: Make sure to set the time to 5:30 while the clock is without batteries, then insert the batteries.

Step 4: Set the Time
Turn the small wheel inside the back cover to adjust the clock to the current time. Ensure that all clock hands are straight and not obstructing one another to allow smooth movement.

Step 5: Attach the Pendulum
Insert the pendulum into the designated hook at the bottom of the clock. Ensure it is securely attached.

Step 6: Adjust the Volume & Brightness
Use the knob on the back of the clock to adjust both the sound volume and light brightness to your preference.
Three Adjustable Sound & Light Modes:
- Level 0: No sound, no light
- Level 1: Soft light, low sound (chime lasts 20 seconds)
- Level 2: Bright light, high sound (chime lasts 20 seconds)
The cuckoo clock chimes from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM and remains silent during other hours.
Battery Replacement
- Replace the batteries when the clock slows down or the cuckoo sound/light becomes weak.
- Always use high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
- DO NOT mix old and new batteries – this may lead to poor performance.
- DO NOT mix different types of batteries (alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable).
Warranty
There is a two-year warranty against manufacture defects on all Karlsson clocks, valid from the date of purchase.
Maintenance
A soft cloth may be used to clean your clock. Do not use corrosive cleaner or chemical solution on the clock.
WEEE Symbol
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.
