PRELIMINARY WARNINGS
The word WARNING preceded by the ⚠️ symbol indicates conditions or actions that put the user's safety at risk. The word CAUTION preceded by the ⚠️ symbol indicates conditions or actions that could damage the instrument or connected equipment.
The warranty is legally void in case of improper use or tampering with the module or devices supplied by the manufacturer, necessary for its correct operation, and if the instructions contained in this manual have not been followed.
WARNING: Before performing any operation, it is mandatory to read the entire content of this manual. The module must be used exclusively by qualified technicians in the electrical installation sector. Specific documentation is available via the QR CODE shown on page 1.
Repair of the module or replacement of damaged components must be carried out by the manufacturer. The product is sensitive to electrostatic discharge; take appropriate precautions during any operation.
Disposal of electrical and electronic waste (applicable in the European Union and other countries with separate collection). The symbol on the product or packaging indicates that the product must be delivered to an authorized collection center for recycling of electrical and electronic waste.

INSTALLATION RULES
Remove the locking pin to allow the instrument to open. For first-time use, the instrument will not be locked by the pin.
Position the instrument for reading using the DIN rail or locking clips. The reading direction of the instrument is indicated in the reference drawing above.
Close the instrument using the locking pin. Apply sufficient pressure for the upper semi-core to engage with the locking tabs.
CAUTION
Ensure that the direction of the current passing through the cable is as illustrated in the figure (incoming).
To increase current measurement sensitivity, pass the cable through the central hole of the instrument multiple times to create a series of turns. Current measurement sensitivity is proportional to the number of conductor passes through the hole; if the turns are not evenly distributed, a reading error may occur.

USB PORT
The module is designed to exchange data according to the defined MODBUS protocol. It features a Micro USB connector and can be configured via applications or software. USB communication has priority over RS485 communication.
The USB serial port uses the following communication parameters: 38400,8,N,1
The USB communication port behaves exactly like the RS485 bus port except for the communication parameters. During USB port use, the 485 bus will be inactive; it will automatically reactivate a few seconds after the USB port is disconnected. EASY SETUP is the software to use for configuration. For more information, consult the site indicated on the cover.
DIP-SWITCH SETTINGS
The DIP-switch positions define the module's Modbus communication parameters: Address and Baud Rate. The following table shows the Baud Rate and Address values based on the DIP-SWITCH settings:
DIP-Switch States
| DIP 1-4 (ADDRESS) | DIP 5-6 (BAUD RATE) | DIP 7 (MEASUREMENT TYPE) | DIP 8 (SCALE) |
|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | 9600 | AC/DC true RMS | Full Scale |
| #2 | 19200 | DC Bipolar | Half Scale |
| #3 | 38400 | ||
| #... | 57600 | ||
| #14 | |||
| #15 |
KEY: ON, OFF
DIP-switch settings must be made with the module unpowered to avoid damage.
The instrument is supplied pre-configured for a range of 100A (DCH100), 300A (DCH300), and 600A (DCH600), with an 800 ms filter enabled and TRMS mode selected.
Note: When DIP Switches 1 to 8 are OFF, communication settings are taken from programming (EEPROM).
