Assembly Way Choose

This product has 3 installation ways: Wall Mounted, Free Standing with Feet, Recessed into the Wall.

Installation Scheme 1: Wall Mounted

WARNING: ONLY QUALIFIED PERSON CAN PERFORM THE INSTALLATION.

Due to various wall finish materials, consult your local builder before installing. Select a location that is not prone to moisture and is at least 36" away from combustible materials (curtains, drapes, furniture, bedding, paper, etc.).

Instructions:

  1. Select a location that is not prone to moisture and is at least 36" away from combustible materials.
  2. Have two people hold the fireplace against the wall to determine the final location.
  3. Mark the position of the Wall-mount bracket (F) on the wall. Ensure the hooks on the bracket face outward and are level. Secure the bracket (F) to the wall using 4 drywall anchors (1) and 4 screws (2).
  4. Place the unit with the front facing downward on a soft, non-abrasive surface. Install the 2pcs Small wall-mounted brackets (I) on the back of the fireplace using 4pcs Self-tapping screws (4). (Note: The 60-inch fireplace uses 4 Small wall-mounted brackets (I) and 8 Self-tapping screws (4)).
  5. Remove the glass panel by unscrewing the screws on both sides. Keep the screws. Remove the Crystal embers (G) and Driftwood fire logs (H) and set aside. Reinstall the glass panel using 2pcs Self-tapping screws (4) and the saved screws. Verify the glass panel is secure. Tear off the protective film on the glass.
  6. Hang the fireplace on the bracket (F). Be careful not to tilt the fireplace to prevent shifting the Crystal embers (G) and Driftwood fire logs (H). Check the stability of the fireplace. Use 2pcs Self-tapping screws (4) through the small holes on both sides of the bracket (F) to secure the fireplace to the wall.

Installation Scheme 2: Free Standing Feet Assembly Way

  1. Remove the glass panel as described in Installation Scheme 1, step 5. Set aside the Crystal embers (G) and Driftwood fire logs (H). Reinstall the glass panel using 2pcs Self-tapping screws (4) and the saved screws. Verify the glass panel is secure. Tear off the protective film on the glass.
  2. Place the heater on a flat and clean location. Take out the feet (D & E) and screws (3) from the box and assemble the feet as shown in the diagrams.

Installation Scheme 3: Recessed Installation

Consult your local builder before installing. Select a location that is not prone to moisture and is at least 36" away from combustible materials.

To prevent exposed insulation or vapor barrier contact, finish the fireplace enclosure walls (e.g., Sheetrock, drywall). This ensures clearance to combustibles within the wall cavity.

Never install fireplace into load-bearing walls. Recess into non-load bearing walls ONLY!

Instructions:

  1. Choose a location in the wall to install the fireplace.
  2. Create an opening in the wall that is no more than 1¼” larger than the metal firebox portion of the fireplace.

Choosing Installation Location

Measure the wall location to ensure the fireplace fits. Minimum clearances (from the front of the glass panel):

Remove the glass panel prior to installation as per instructions.

FIG. 1

  1. Stand the fireplace up, then remove the glass panel by unscrewing the screws on both sides. Keep the screws.

FIG. 2

  1. Take out the Crystal embers (G) and Driftwood fire logs (H), place them on the ember bed. Reinstall the glass panel using 2pcs Self-tapping screws (4) and the saved screws. Verify the glass panel is secure. Tear off the protective film on the glass.
