CAUTION
If you ignore the caution message, you may be slightly injured or the product may be damaged.
General Warnings
- Indoor Use Only.
Precautions for the AC Adapter and Power
- Use only the power cord or AC adapter provided or approved by LG Electronics, Inc. If you use another power cord, ensure it is certified by national standards. Contact the manufacturer or authorized service center for replacement of faulty power cables.
- Operate the display only from a power source (voltage) indicated in the product specification. Failure to do so may result in product damage, fire, or electrocution. Consult a certified installation company if unsure about the power supply type.
- Ensure the power cord is connected to a properly grounded outlet to prevent electrocution, injury, or product damage.
- Insert the power plug or AC adapter firmly to prevent it from coming loose, which can cause fire or electric shock.
- In the presence of thunder and lightning, avoid touching the power cord and signal cable to prevent electric shock.
- Be careful not to step on or place heavy objects on the power cord or AC adapter. Do not bend or pull the power cord or AC adapter with excessive force, as damaged cords can cause fire or electric shock.
- Do not connect a damaged power cord or AC adapter to a power outlet. You may be electrocuted.
- Do not insert conductors (e.g., metal chopsticks) into the power cord terminals. Do not touch the power cord immediately after unplugging it, as you may be electrocuted.
- Avoid using multi-outlets connected to many electrical products and heating devices. Use an exclusive multi-outlet with a grounding terminal to prevent fire due to overheating.
- If water or foreign substances enter the product, disconnect the power cord immediately and contact the service center to prevent fire or electric shock.
- Keep the power cord or AC adapter away from heating devices to prevent melting of the cord coating, which can cause fire or electric shock.
- Never disassemble, repair, or modify the power cord or AC adapter, as this may cause fire or electric shock.
- The power cord serves as the main cutoff device. Ensure the product is installed near a wall outlet for easy accessibility.
- The unit remains connected to the AC power source even when turned off, until the power plug is unplugged.
- Power consumption is zero only when the power plug is unplugged. Use the appliance coupler as the disconnect device.
Cautions for AC Adapter and Power
- If the outlet pins of the power plug or AC adapter are dusty, wipe them clean to prevent overheating, which can cause fire or electric shock.
- If the outlet pins are wet, wipe them clean and do not touch the power plug or AC adapter with wet hands, as this may cause electric shock.
- Do not turn the product on or off by plugging/unplugging the power plug. Do not use the power socket as a switch, as this may cause electric shock or product malfunction.
- Do not unplug the power cord while the product is in use, as electrical shock can damage the product.
Precautions for Moving the Product
WARNING
- Contact the service center before moving the product to avoid electric shock and product damage.
- Ensure the product is turned off, unplugged, and all cables are removed before moving. Failure to do so may result in electrocution or product damage.
- When moving, do not shock or impact the front panel, as this may result in electrocution or product damage.
- Use the correct number of people for lifting based on the product's weight (under 25 Kg per person; use lifting equipment for over 100 Kg). Contact the service center if using a damaged product, as it may cause electric shock or fire.
- Do not hold the product upside down while holding only the stand (for stand-supported models only). This may cause stand warping, panel damage, or other product damage.
CAUTION
- Do not dispose of the product-packing box. Use it for moving the product.
Precautions for Installing the Product
