Quick Guide: Realtek Audio Driver Installation

Installation Steps

1. Save and Extract the File: Locate the downloaded Realtek audio driver file (typically a .zip or .rar archive) and extract its contents to a folder on your computer.

2. Disconnect Network: To prevent conflicts with automatic driver downloads from Windows Update, disconnect your computer from the internet.

3. Navigate to Directory: Open the folder where you extracted the driver files. You will see various files including configuration files (.ini), executables (.exe), and data files (.cab).

4. Run Setup: Double-click on the `Setup.exe` file to launch the Realtek audio driver installation wizard.

5. Uninstall Current Driver (if prompted): The installer may first prompt you to uninstall the existing Realtek audio driver. Click "Next" to proceed with the uninstallation. If the installer does not prompt for a two-step process, you can skip to step 7.
