KNEKT MOUNT RING FITMENT GUIDE Use this guide as an additional resource to find or confirm your optic's correct Knekt Mount Ring size. Please follow the instructions in order to make sure your printer has not resized the guide otherwise your sample ring cutouts will be incorrect. Step 1: Print this guide using the free version Adobe Acrobat Reader on any printer but preferably a black and white laser printer. In the print dialog of Acrobat, please make sure "Actual Size" is selected on the Page Sizing & Handling section as shown below. Your view may vary depending on the version of Acrobat you are using but other correct options include "Do Not Scale" or "No Scaling". Step 2: Confirm the guide printed correctly to scale by comparing the printed ruler below with a physical ruler. The 0 and 7 inch (or 17 centimeter) marks should line up with the center of your ruler's marks. If they do not, then please refer to Step 1 to confirm your printer settings are correct. Alternatively, you can select a custom scale percentage in the print dialog until the ruler marks align. Step 3: Cut out the below rings and test fit them on your optic. The inside of the ring should not cover any part of your optic's glass and the outside of the ring should fit within the eyecup's rubber surround. Alternatively, if you have calipers, you can use them to measure the inside and outside free space of your eyecup retaining flange and compare those measurements to the ring measurements below.
