1 Important Safety Instructions
Hearing Protection
❗ Danger
To avoid hearing damage, limit the time you use the headphones at high volume and set the volume to a safe level. The higher the volume, the shorter the safe listening time.
When using headphones, follow these instructions:
- Listen at a reasonable volume for reasonable periods.
- Be careful not to continuously increase the volume as your hearing adapts.
- Do not turn the volume up so high that you cannot hear what is around you.
- Exercise caution or temporarily discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.
- Excessive sound pressure from headphones can cause hearing loss.
- Using headphones that cover your ears while driving is not recommended and may be illegal in some areas.
- For your safety, avoid distracting content from music or phone calls in traffic or other potentially hazardous environments.
General Information
⚠️ Caution
To prevent damage or malfunction:
- Do not expose the headphones to excessive heat.
- Do not drop the headphones.
- Do not expose the headphones to dripping or splashing. (Refer to the IP rating for specific product details)
- Do not immerse the headphones in water.
- Do not charge the headphones if the connector or socket is wet.
- Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasive substances.
- For regular cleaning of the headphones – especially the sound channels and microphone openings – use a clean, damp cloth and avoid the buildup of substances like sweat or earwax.
- If sweat or water droplets remain in the sound channels, air vents, or microphone openings, the sound level may temporarily decrease or disappear completely. This is not a malfunction. Dry the headphones thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth. Alternatively, for earbuds, remove the ear tips, turn the sound channels downwards, and gently tap the headphones about five times on a dry cloth or similar to remove any accumulated water.
- Ensure the headphones are completely dry before charging and use. Avoid using single-use alcohol wipes or other cleaning agents.
- The built-in battery must not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or similar.
- If the battery is replaced incorrectly, there is a risk of explosion. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type.
- To achieve the specified IP protection rating, the charging port cover must be closed.
- Disposing of the battery in a fire or hot oven, or crushing or cutting the battery mechanically, may cause an explosion.
- If the battery is exposed to extremely high temperatures, it may cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- A battery exposed to extremely low air pressure may cause an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Replacing the battery with an incorrect type may seriously damage the headphones and battery (e.g., with certain types of lithium batteries).
- If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will begin to lose its charge. To prevent this loss, fully charge the battery at least once every three months.
- To avoid fire hazards, the equipment is supplied only from an external power source whose output power must comply with PS1 (with an output capacity of 15 W or less).
