3. INFLATING YOUR BOARD

A. Valve Operation

The board's inflation valve is located near the nose of the board.

4. BOARD INFLATION STEPS

  1. Ensure that the valve is in the closed position (with valve pin up).
  2. Rotate the pump's hose to fit it securely into the valve, ensuring that it won't leak air.
  3. Connect the pump nozzle to the valve inlet.
  4. Start pumping air into the board by sliding the pump piston up and down.

Tips: If the pump piston starts squeaking, apply some lubricant spray to the piston shaft.

TIGHTENING THE HIGH PRESSURE VALVE

Over time, it is possible that the high-pressure inflation valve (VII) may become loose. As part of the Repair Kit 3, a valve wrench is supplied to tighten the valve and maintain its air seal.

  1. Open the high-pressure valve (VII) by turning the valve cap 190° clockwise.
  2. Insert the valve wrench into the high-pressure valve as shown.
  3. Firmly grip the outside of the valve and turn the wrench clockwise until fully tightened.

Note: Do not unscrew the valve fully unless absolutely necessary.

Recommended inflation pressure: 10-12 PSI. Maximum recommended pressure: 15 PSI.

INFLATION TIPS AND PRECAUTIONS

5. BOARD DEFLATION STEPS

  1. Clear any water or debris from the valve areas.
  2. Slowly press down on the valve stem to begin releasing air from the board. There will be an initial burst of air, but that will slow down quickly. Once the airflow has slowed down, press the valve stem all the way down and turn it clockwise to lock it in the “open” position.

6. FIN INSTALLATION

NOTE: Align the fin with the fin box and ensure the tip of the fin points in the direction of insertion.

7. LEASH ATTACHMENT

As shown in the image, when using the paddleboard, one end of the leash should be attached to the handle at the front or rear of the paddleboard, and the other end should be secured to your wrist or ankle to ensure safety during use.

Note: The middle handle and the six metal rings at the rear should not be used for securing the leash.

8. STORING YOUR STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD

We have chosen PVC for superior protection against ultraviolet light. However, to maintain flexibility and bright colors for additional years, avoid storing the board in areas exposed to the elements or direct sunlight. Please refer to the following list for storage and care tips.

9. BOARD FOLDING STEPS

The board storage bag is designed for easy storage, allowing you to place your board in with minimal folding. Follow the diagram below for the proper folding procedure. Ensure your folds align with the shape shown in Step 5.

Folding Steps:

  1. Step 1
  2. Step 2
  3. Step 3
  4. Step 4
  5. Step 5

To the extent any provision of this warranty is prohibited by Federal, State or Municipal law and cannot be preempted, it shall not be applicable. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.

13. FINDING AND FIXING LEAKS

Your board is made from highly durable PVC. If torn or punctured, the PVC is very easy to repair using the included repair kit. Follow these tips carefully to locate and fix leaks.

If your board is losing pressure and it is not due to cold temperatures, check the board leaks, starting with the valves. It is unusual for the valve to leak, but if you find that the valve is leaking and your board is still under warranty, a replacement valve can be sent. To locate a leak, we recommend mixing soap and water in a bottle and sprinkling it over the valve. If you see bubbles forming, make sure the valve is properly closed. If you continue to see problems, you can replace the valve using the repair kit.

If the board is leaking air and the valves are all right, you could have a small puncture. Sprinkle the board with soapy water until you see bubbles appear and mark the position of the puncture. If you do not see any bubbles, inflate the board to its maximum pressure and try listening for the leak. If you can identify the area, sprinkle it with soapy water again to find the leak.

Punctures measuring less than 3 mm are simple to fix without a patch. Deflate your board, then clean and dry the area you are repairing. Apply a small drop of glue to cover the puncture and let it dry for approximately 12 hours.

14. SMALL REPAIRS

Your board comes with a standard repair kit. Cut a piece of repair material that is large enough to extend beyond the damaged area by approximately 1.5 cm, rounding the corners. Apply glue to the bottom of the patch and around the area you are repairing. Too much glue can interfere with proper repair.

Wait until the adhesive is tacky (2-4 minutes) and then place the patch over the damaged area. Exert about 3-5 kg of pressure for 12 hours. After the patch has dried, apply glue around the edges to ensure it is completely sealed and let it dry for 4 hours.
