Solution of Common Problems
1. Q: What is the difference between water-based ink and solvent ink?
A: Water-based ink is suitable for porous materials like matte cartons and fabrics. Solvent ink works on both porous and non-porous surfaces, including plastics, glass, metal, stone, wood, aluminum foil, and cables. All Phezer handheld inkjet printers use original HP solvent ink cartridges.
2. Q: What's the capacity of ink cartridge? How long can I use it?
A: Cartridges have a capacity of 47 mL or 72 mL, depending on the nozzle size. A cartridge can print over 800,000 characters (2mm x 2mm). Usage duration varies greatly based on printing frequency, potentially lasting from less than a month to over a year. Always cover the nozzle with the protective cap when not in use to prevent clogging and prolong the machine's life.
3. Q: What's the height range of the font?
A: Printing height ranges from 2-12.7 mm (0.08-0.5 inch). The machine supports 1-5 lines of print with adjustable height. To combine content, select text, click edit, adjust font size, position it, and then add subsequent lines.
4. Q: What fonts does it include? If the size can be adjusted?
A: The printer includes 20 fonts with adjustable sizes, both physical and bitmap. Users can directly input Chinese, English, dates, batch numbers, variable batch codes, QR codes, or bar codes via the touchscreen without a computer connection. Images like logos require uploading via a U disk. Up to 200 different content messages can be stored simultaneously.
5. Q: Can we erase it?
A: No ink is truly indelible. Most inks can be removed with alcohol, but effectiveness depends on the material's surface and its adhesive properties. Bright surfaces are easier to clean than matte or frosted surfaces.
6. Q: How to maintain the cartridge if we don't print for a long period?
A: Turn off the handheld printer, remove the ink cartridge, clean the nozzle with alcohol, and cover it with the protective cap. Store the cartridge upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
