Installation Steps
Step 1: Preparation
Ensure the motorcycle frame is clean and free of oil. This is crucial for proper adhesion of components.
Step 2: Mounting the Reservoir
Attach the reservoir to a suitable location on the motorcycle frame. The diagrams show various mounting options depending on the motorcycle model.
Step 3: Routing the Delivery Tube
Connect the vacuum tubing to the engine's vacuum source. Route the delivery tube along the swingarm towards the rear sprocket. Ensure the tube is secured and will not interfere with the wheel or suspension.
Step 4: Attaching the Dispenser
Secure the dispenser to the swingarm, ensuring it is positioned to deliver oil directly onto the chain. The dispenser should be approximately 6mm from the chain.
Step 5: Connecting the System
Connect the reservoir to the delivery tube and the dispenser. Ensure all connections are secure.
Step 6: Priming the System
Prime the system by turning the dial on the reservoir. Follow the instructions for priming, which typically involves setting the dial to 'Prime' for a specific duration (e.g., 60 seconds) with the engine running.
Step 7: Setting the Flow Rate
Set the oil flow rate according to the manufacturer's recommendations and riding conditions. The dial can be adjusted between 'Min' and 'Max'.
Step 8: Final Checks
Double-check all connections and ensure the system is securely mounted. Test the oil delivery by rotating the rear wheel.
