Overview
The REMS CamSys 2 is an ultra-light, handy camera inspection system designed for cost-effective inspection and damage analysis of pipes, drains, chimneys, and other cavities. It is also ideal for inspection after pipe cleaning work and for verifying new installations or repairs.
Key features include a self-levelling camera that ensures upright photos and videos, a built-in 33 kHz transmitter for tracking the camera head, and electronic metering. The system's controller unit weighs only 1.3 kg, making it highly portable and suitable for use anywhere, even in very confined spaces.
The 7" colour display, utilizing state-of-the-art TFT-LCD technology, provides brilliant photos and videos. These can be saved with voice recording onto an SD card for simple documentation of inspection results. The system supports both cordless battery operation and mains power.

Key Features and Components
- Controller Unit: Features a 7" TFT-LCD colour display (178 mm screen diagonal, 720 x 480 pixels) for brilliant pictures and videos. It has a sturdy, impact-proof, spray-protected plastic housing with glare protection and an integrated stand for adjustable screen inclination.
- Camera Head: High-resolution special colour camera with a CMOS image sensor and ultra-bright, white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) with adjustable intensity. It offers low light requirement due to very high light sensitivity (0.1 lux). Some models feature a 33 kHz transmitter for tracking and a self-levelling function for upright images. The camera head is typically 25mm or 33mm in diameter and water-proof up to 20m.
- Push Cable: Available in various lengths (10m, 20m, 30m) and diameters (4.5mm, 5.4mm). The cables are very flexible, feature length marks, and are designed for bend-manoeuvring through pipe bends using hybrid technology with a glass fibre core, data cables, and a plastic sheath for durability.
- Connectivity: A 2m connecting cable links the controller unit to the camera cable set, which is removable for easy cleaning. Plug-screw connections allow for tool-free changing of camera cable sets and the controller unit. It includes a USB connector for direct PC connection and a video output socket (Composite-Video PAL/NTSC) for external monitors.
- Power: Powered by an integrated Li-Polymer battery (3.7V, 7.6 Ah) for cordless operation. It also includes a voltage supply/charger (100-240V, 50-60Hz, 15W) with a USB port and cable.
- Storage: An SD card slot allows for saving pictures and videos with voice recording. A 4 GB SD card is included.
- User Interface: Ergonomic grips with soft-grip and adjustable clamping bands. Dedicated keys for taking pictures and videos, and for controlling screen brightness, zoom (2x, 4x), and picture rotation.

- REMS CamSys 2 Set S-Color S-N 30 H: Features a 33mm camera, self-levelling capability, 33 kHz transmitter for locating the camera head, 30m push cable (Ø 5.4mm), flexible, in a hasp with electronic metering. Accessories
A range of accessories are available to complement the REMS CamSys 2 system:
