General Installation Steps

This document provides installation instructions for the Geberit Sigma concealed cistern.

Step 1: Mounting the Frame

The first step involves securing the concealed cistern frame to the wall. This typically includes attaching mounting brackets and ensuring the frame is level and stable.

Step 2: Connecting Water Supply and Drainage

Connect the water supply to the cistern inlet valve and the drainage outlet to the toilet. Ensure all connections are secure and watertight. The diagram shows the inlet valve connection with R1/2 thread and the outlet connection.

Step 3: Installing the Cistern Module

The cistern module is then placed within the frame. This involves aligning the module with the mounting points and securing it. The diagrams illustrate the placement and connection of the flush valve and fill valve components.

Step 4: Securing the Front Plate

A front plate or access panel is installed to cover the cistern module. This plate typically allows access for maintenance and flush plate installation. The diagrams show how to attach the front plate, including securing mechanisms.

Step 5: Connecting the Flush Plate

The flush plate mechanism is connected to the flush valve. This allows for the operation of the flushing mechanism. The diagrams show the connection of the flush actuator rods.

Step 6: Final Adjustments and Testing

After installation, perform final adjustments to ensure proper water filling and flushing. Test the system for leaks and correct operation. The diagrams illustrate adjustments to the fill valve and flush valve.

Step 7: Completing the Installation

The final step involves any necessary finishing work, such as tiling around the installed unit, and ensuring all components are securely in place.
