Product Details
The SKS3200M-4GPY2XF is a self-developed simple management switch product. It provides 4 adaptive 10M/100M/1000M/2.5Gbps RJ45 ports and 2 1000M/2.5G/10Gbps SFP+ optical fiber module expansion slots for flexible network expansion. Each RJ45 port supports Auto-MDI/MDIX and line-speed forwarding. The store-and-forward technology ensures effective bandwidth allocation to each port, making it powerful and flexible for deploying wireless access points or IP-based network surveillance cameras. It is widely used in small and medium-sized enterprises, hotels, parks, network convergence, and core applications.

Chapter 1: Product Appearance Description
1.1 Front Panel
The front panel includes four 100/1000/2500Mbps adaptive RJ45 ports, two 10Gbps SFP+ ports, and associated indicators.
Port Description:
- 100/1000/2500Mbps Adaptive RJ45 Port: Supports 100 Mbps, 1000 Mbps, 2500 Mbps rate adaptation, Auto-MDI/MDIX function. Ports 1-4 have corresponding indicator lights.
- 10Gbps SFP+ Slot: Independent 10G optical module slots on the right side of the panel. Uses 10G/2.5G/1G optical modules (SR/LR/LRM/ER/ZR). Ports 5-6 indicators are located to the right of the ports.
1.2 LED Indicator
The LED indicators provide status information for the switch:
Indicator | Color | Description |
---|---|---|
PWR | Green | Off: Powered off; Steady on: Powered on |
10M/100M/1G | Green | Off: Network disconnected; Blinking slowly: 10/100/1000 MBPS network device connected; Quick blinking: Data transfer in progress |
Link/Act: 2.5G | Orange | Off: Network disconnected; Blinking slowly: 2.5G network device connected; Quick blinking: Data transfer in progress |
SFP+ 2.5G/10G | Green | Off: Network disconnected; Blinking slowly: 2.5 Gbit/s or 10 Gbit/s network device connected; Quick blinking: Data transfer in progress |
1.3 Rear Panel
The rear panel features a DC power socket and a lightning protection terminal.
- DC Power Interface: Connect the negative plug of the power cord to the switch and the positive plug to the AC power supply.
- Lightning Protection Power Port: Located to the right of the power port. Ground with a wire to prevent lightning strikes.
Chapter 2: Installation Guide
This section guides you through the proper installation and secure use of the switch.
2.1 Installation Notes
To avoid equipment damage and personal injury, follow these precautions:
- Ensure the switching equipment room is dry, ventilated, and free from corrosive gases and strong electromagnetic interference.
- Maintain humidity below 90% in the equipment room.
- Ground the switch according to the manual's requirements and ensure a good ground connection.
- Ensure stable voltage supply to prevent abnormal operation due to power fluctuations.
- Maintain adequate spacing between switches and other devices; do not stack them.
- Use standardized and reasonable connection cables for the distribution frame. Keep jumpers concise and clear to prevent parallel or double lines.
- Do not open the case without authorization to avoid electric shock. Contact professionals for repairs.
Safety Tips:
- Ensure the PGND cable of the power socket is reliably grounded.
- Ensure the switch has adequate space for heat dissipation and ventilation.
- Do not place heavy objects on the switch.
2.2 Installation Environment
Before installation, confirm a suitable working environment, including power requirements and sufficient space. Ensure proximity to other devices and that they are in place.
Installation Requirements:
- Ensure the workbench is stable and well-grounded.
- Check cable and connector availability and proper installation.
- Environment Requirements: Operating temperature: -10°C to 50°C; Relative humidity: 10% to 90%.
2.3 Installation Mode
The switch can be installed in two ways:
- Desktop Installation: Carefully place the switch on a workbench, ensuring sufficient space around for heat dissipation.
- Wall-mounted: Fix a hook (purchased separately) to the wall according to the switch's connecting hole spacing. Place the switch parallel to the wall on the hook, ensuring adequate space for heat dissipation.
2.4 Starting a Switch
After powering on, the switch initializes automatically. If all port indicators light up and then turn off, the system has reset successfully, and the PWR indicator remains on.
Note: Ensure the voltage is correct before powering on the device to prevent damage.
