06 TROUBLESHOOTING

Why does the heater not heat?

Check the following:

  1. Overheating protection: Check the reset button on the back of the device.
  2. Tip-over protection: Ensure the product is upright.
  3. Circuit breaker/fuse: Ensure it is working properly.
  4. Temperature setting: The set temperature may be lower than the sensor's reading; adjust higher.

What does it show E1/E2/E3/E4 on display?

These error codes relate to different issues. Contact BalluCustomerService@gmail.com for solutions.

Why does the room warm up slowly?

Close doors and windows to prevent heat loss. Use Boost mode initially, then set to your desired temperature once the room is warm. This improves efficiency and reduces energy consumption.

Why is the remote screen display incorrect?

  1. The remote screen may not sync with the app or control panel; manual adjustments might be needed.
  2. The remote sends its displayed status to the machine each time it's used.
  3. If the app, control panel, and remote are used simultaneously, the last operation takes effect.

Why does it smell when I use it?

A slight odor during the first use is normal and harmless. Run the product in Boost mode for 2 hours in a ventilated environment.

Why do you sometimes hear switch sounds?

The heater automatically switches off heating when the set temperature is reached, which may cause a switching sound.

How is it different from an oil heater?

Oil heaters lose heat and are less efficient. Ballu convection electric heaters directly heat air for high efficiency, rapid temperature increase, and uniform indoor temperatures.

How to save on electricity bills?

Power usage depends on room size, insulation, and desired temperature. Ideal for 160-220 sq ft (up to 300 sq ft with longer heating times). Close doors and windows. Start at the highest setting for quick heating, then adjust to a lower temperature to maintain it. Use different temperature modes for efficiency.
