3. Wiring Diagram
The following describes the wiring connections for the access controller.
Common Power Supply Wiring:
Connections:
- [Power] O OK: Indicates power status.
- Keypad: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, [*], 0, [#]
- [Bell] Button
- [RFID Access Control] Unit
- Wiring diagram of common power supply:
- Unit's [DC+12V] connects to [Power Supply Port]
- Unit's [GND] connects to [Electric Lock Port]
- Unit's [COM] connects to the lock's [PUSH] terminal
- Unit's [PUSH] connects to the lock's [Switch Port]
- Unit's [OPEN SW+] connects to a [Switch Port] (e.g., door sensor input)
- Unit's [OPEN SW-] connects to another [Switch Port] (e.g., door sensor input)
- Unit's [DOOR BELL] connects to the [Door Bell Port]
Note on Common Power Supply:
"NO" means Normally Open: Connect to an electric lock that opens when power is applied.
"NC" means Normally Closed: Connect to an electric lock that opens when power is removed.
The maximum working current of the relay is 2A.
Dedicated Power Supply Wiring:
Connections:
- [Power] O OK: Indicates power status.
- Keypad: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, [*], 0, [#]
- [Bell] Button
- [RFID Access Control] Unit
- Wiring diagram for dedicated power supply:
- Unit's [DC+12V] connects to external [DC+12V]
- Unit's [GND] connects to external [GND]
- Unit's [COM] connects to the lock's common terminal ([PUSH+])
- Unit's [PUSH] connects to the lock's [NO] terminal (for Normally Open locks)
- Unit's [OPEN SW+] connects to a [switch port] (e.g., door sensor input)
- Unit's [OPEN SW-] connects to another [NC] terminal (e.g., door sensor input)
- Unit's [DOOR BELL] connects to the [door bell port]
External Lock Terminals:
[Port of electric lock that can be open when power on] (This is the NO terminal)
[Port of electric lock that can be open when power off] (This is the NC terminal)
Note on PUSH Output:
If 'COM' and 'GND' are connected internally, 'PUSH' output is low level; If 'COM' and '+12V' are connected internally, 'PUSH' output is high level. 'COM' is the common port of the relay.
