Installation
Lifting and Moving the Monitor
Follow these guidelines to prevent the monitor from being scratched or damaged during transportation:
- It is recommended to move the monitor in its original box or packing material.
- Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.
- When holding the monitor, ensure the screen faces away from you to prevent damage.
- Hold the monitor frame firmly by the sides and bottom. Avoid holding the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.
- For large monitors, at least two people should be present for transportation.
- Avoid exposing the monitor to jolts or excessive vibration during transport.
- Keep the monitor upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it.
- Do not apply excessive pressure to the frame chassis, as this may cause flexing, bending, or screen damage.
- When handling the monitor, be careful not to damage protruding buttons.
- Avoid touching the screen at all times to prevent damage.
- When attaching the stand, place the screen face down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.
Installing on a Table
- Lift the monitor and place it upright on a table.
- Position the monitor at least 100 mm away from the wall to ensure sufficient ventilation. (Diagram illustrates 100 mm clearance from the wall and sides.)
- Unplug the power cord before moving or installing the monitor to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- Use the provided power cord and connect it to a grounded power outlet.
- If a replacement power cord is needed, contact your local dealer or nearest retail store.
Adjusting the Angle
- Place the monitor on its stand base in an upright position.
- Adjust the angle of the screen. The screen angle can be adjusted forward or backward from -5° to 15° for a comfortable viewing experience (for models 27SR73U/32SR73U/32SR76U/32U721SA/27U731SA/32U731SA). For model 37U730SA, the angle can be adjusted from -5° to 20°.
Caution: To avoid finger injury, do not hold the lower part of the monitor's frame when adjusting the screen. Be careful not to touch or press the screen area while adjusting the angle. (Diagrams show correct and incorrect ways to adjust the screen angle for different models.)

To install the monitor to a wall, attach an optional wall mounting bracket to the back of the monitor. Ensure the bracket is securely fixed to both the monitor and the wall.
Wall Mount (mm) | Standard screw | Number of screws |
---|---|---|
100 x 100 | M4 x L10 | 4 |
(Diagram shows an optional wall mount plate, LSW149.)
Note: Use VESA standard specified screws. The wall mount kit includes an installation guide and necessary parts. The wall mounting bracket is optional. Screw length may vary; using screws longer than standard may damage the product. Refer to the wall mounting bracket's user manual for more information. Be careful not to apply excessive force when mounting the plate to avoid screen damage. Remove the stand before wall mounting by reversing the stand attachment process. Unplug the power cord before installation to avoid electric shock. Installing on a ceiling or slanted wall may cause the monitor to fall, leading to injury; use an authorized LG wall mount and contact a qualified dealer or personnel. Ensure secure attachment to the wall per installation instructions. Excessive force when tightening screws can damage the monitor and is not covered by warranty. Use VESA-standard compliant brackets and screws; damage from misuse of inappropriate components is not covered by warranty. When measured from the back of the monitor, the installed screw length must be 8 mm or less. (Diagram illustrates screw length measurement: A: Wall Mount Plate, B: Back of Monitor, C: Standard screw, D: Max. 8 mm.)
Connections

Troubleshooting
Nothing is displayed on the screen.
- Check if the monitor's power cord is plugged in and correctly connected to the power outlet.
- If the [No Signal] message is displayed, check that the signal cable between the PC and the monitor is connected properly.
Screen display is unstable and shaky. / Images displayed on the monitor leave shadow trails.
- Ensure the correct resolution is selected. If using HDMI 1080i 60/50 Hz (interlaced), change the resolution to 1080p or the recommended setting.
- Incorrect graphics card resolution settings may cause blurred text, a dimmed screen, truncated display, or misalignment. Consult the computer or graphics card manufacturer for assistance if needed.
The screen retains an image.
- Image sticking may occur even when the monitor is turned off. Displaying a still image for a prolonged time can cause screen damage and image retention. Use a screensaver to extend monitor lifespan.
- Pixilated spots (red, green, blue, white, or black) may appear on the screen during use. This is normal for an LCD screen and does not indicate an error or performance issue.
Unrecognized Monitor Message
- Ensure the graphics card supports the Plug and Play function.
Cannot control the Monitor with the remote control.
- Check for obstacles between the remote control and the monitor's sensor.
- Verify that the batteries are working and correctly installed. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
The Monitor turns off suddenly.
- Disable the sleep timer function via the remote control: [ ] > [General] > [System] > [Time & Timer] > [Timers] > [Sleep Timer] > [Off].
- Check if external devices are functioning correctly.
- Check if the auto-off function is activated. If there is no signal for 15 minutes, the monitor will turn off automatically.
4K resolution is unavailable.
- Verify cable connections are secure. Use supplied accessories.
- Ensure the correct resolution and refresh rate are set in the PC's display settings or player options.
- Confirm that the connected external device supports 4K resolution.
- Ensure the [HDMI Deep Color] function is enabled in the monitor settings: [ ] > [General] > [External Devices] > [HDMI Settings] > [HDMI Deep Color].
