Let's get your new 7 kg vented clothes dryer ready to use!
A Installing the machine
CAUTION! This clothes dryer is extremely heavy - transport it with care! A team lift or mechanical aid is required when moving it.
Where to Install?
This appliance has been designed for freestanding, floor-level installation. Make sure the floor surface is firm, flat, dry and stable, and there is an appropriate electrical wall outlet nearby. Do not place the appliance on soft material such as foam, plastic or carpet, as this may block the air intake.
Important Installation Notes
IMPORTANT! This clothes dryer must be installed by a competent person. Installation involves removing any packaging, leveling the machine, connecting it to the included vent hose and connecting this hose to an outlet point. For detailed installation instructions, please consult the supplied instruction manual, which also has comprehensive usage instructions and important safety advice.
NOTE: Before you use the dryer for the first time, place some clean, damp rags into the drum and run a complete cycle on the 30 minutes program following the instructions on page 16 in the manual.
B Preparation
- Plug in the machine. [power plug]
- Load your washing into the dryer – you'll find useful hints on pages 17-18 in the manual. [load laundry]
- Close the door. [close door]
C Clothes drying
- Select a drying program using the dial on the right hand side of the control panel. The dial controls programs like: Cotton Extra, Cupboard, Standard Cotton, Damp, Cotton Iron, Synthetic Extra, Synthetic, Synthetic Iron, 30 min, 60 min, 90 min, Anti-Bac, Silk, Refresh, Air-Dry. [program dial]
- If desired, add a delay time by pressing the DELAY button repeatedly, to cycle between the 3 hour, 6 hour and 12 hour options (see page 19 of the manual). [delay button]
- For some programs, a gentler dry can be achieved by pressing the DELICATE button (see page 20 of the manual for a list of these programs). [delicate button]
- Alternatively, for some programs, a faster dry can be achieved by pressing the QUICK button (see page 20 of the manual for a list of these programs). [quick button]
- Press the START/PAUSE button to start the drying program, or to pause and restart it during operation. [start/pause button]
CAUTION: When pausing the dryer and opening the door, beware of hot surfaces and hot steam escaping. Take utmost care to avoid scalding.

D Afterwards
- At the end of the drying program, when the drum has stopped rotating, unplug the machine from the power supply. [unplug machine]
- Open the door and take out your washing. [remove laundry]
- When the drum has cooled, take the lint filter out of the door opening and wipe or brush it clean. [clean lint filter]
- When it is completely dry, refit the lint filter into the door opening. [refit lint filter]
