Assembly

Read the operator's manual thoroughly before operating the unit. Follow all warnings and safety instructions. This fast guide is intended as a reference for users that have already read the operator's manual and are familiar with the necessary safety precautions.

Step 2: Connect Shaft Housing

Insert the short tab (the one without a hole) on the mount bracket into the slot on the cutting head shield. Insert the bolt on the cutting head shield into the hole on the mount bracket.

[Diagram: Shows inserting a tab into a slot, then a bolt into a hole.]

Step 3: Secure with Washer and Wing Nut

Step 4: Insert Lower Shaft Housing

Push the lower shaft housing into the coupler. The holes on the lower shaft housing should align with the holes on the coupler.

NOTE: If the holes do not align, remove the lower shaft housing, rotate the cutting head slightly (1/8th turn), and repeat this step.

Step 5: Secure with Screws

Insert the screws (x2) into the aligned holes. Tighten the screws securely with a #2 Phillips screwdriver.

Step 6: Attach Handle

Push the handle down onto the upper shaft housing. Make sure the hex hole faces left. Insert the bolt into the hex hole. Place the washer onto the bolt. Screw the wing nut onto the bolt, but do not tighten it completely.

Step 7: Position and Secure Handle
