Non-dimmable: The lamp is not suitable for use with a conventional dimmer.

Electrical device of safety class II: Protection against electric shock thanks to reinforced or double insulation of live parts.

This smart light is useful for accent lighting, effect lighting or for creating personal lighting atmospheres. You can choose from 16 million different colours. Other setting options include: Switching On/Off and stepless dimming.

The following voice commands can be used with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant:

6. Commissioning

To set up your Hama WiFi Neon LED Strip:

  1. Download the Hama Smart Home app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open the Hama Smart Home app.
  3. If you are a new user, register and create an account. If you already have an account, log in with your access details.
  4. Connect the LED strip to a properly installed socket (IP44 or higher).
  5. The LED strip should start to flash quickly. If it does not, disconnect and reconnect the power supply three times in succession.
  6. Open the app and sign in.
  7. Press the [+] icon in the top right-hand corner to add a new device.
  8. Choose "Lamps" from the list.
  9. Enter your WiFi password and confirm by tapping "Next".
  10. Confirm that the lamp is flashing quickly by ticking "Next step" and then tapping "Next".
  11. Your light is now connected. Once connected, the light will stop flashing quickly, and the app will confirm the connection. You can then assign a custom name to your light.
  12. Tap "Finish" to complete the process. You can now control the light via the app.

7. Setting Options

The following settings can be made in the Hama Smart Home app:

For extended usage options, scenarios can be created in the app (see Section 8 and App Guide).

8. Extended Usage Options with Scenarios

Scenarios and automated sequences, created in the app's "Smart scenarios" section, allow for many combination and usage options depending on other Smart Home products installed in your home. Programming is done via the app (see Section 4 of the App Guide) and suggestions will be offered individually.
