Make Espresso Coffee
- Open the lid, take out the water tank, and pour appropriate water into the tank. Do not exceed the MAX capacity.
- Put back the water tank and close the lid.
- Connect the power plug, press the power button. The machine will automatically pump water for about 8 seconds. The coffee and steam indicators will light up. The coffee indicator will flash during preheating. When the water temperature in the boiler is ready for brewing, the coffee indicator will stop flashing and light up. This process takes approximately 3 minutes.
- Take out the filter holder, pour the appropriate amount of ground coffee into the filter using the coffee spoon, and press the coffee powder down firmly.
- Lock the filter holder into the group head.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Start brewing by pressing the coffee button.
- Remove the filter holder, knock out the used coffee grounds, and clean the filter and filter holder immediately. Lock it again for the next use.
Note: Check the water level in the tank frequently. Refill if necessary. Avoid touching hot surfaces of the machine with your hands, especially the brewing outlet and steam nozzle.
Frothing Milk / Make Cappuccino
- Prepare espresso first with a large enough cup, according to section "B. MAKE ESPRESSO COFFEE".
- Use cold, fresh milk (8-10°C) and pour about 1/3 of the milk into the frothing pitcher. The volume of milk will increase after frothing.
- Press the steam button. The machine will start preheating, and the steam indicator will flash. Wait for the indicator light to turn on.
- Place a stainless steel cup under the steam nozzle.
- Open the knob to release steam. Insert the steam nozzle into the milk, just below the surface. Adjust the height of the cup to froth the milk.
- When finished, turn off the knob. Pour the frothed milk into the prepared espresso. Your cappuccino is now ready.
Note: Purge steam to clean the steam nozzle after use. Be careful of hot surfaces.
Make Hot Water
- Turn on the hot water switch.
- Insert a stainless steel container under the steam nozzle.
- Turn the knob to open the steam. Hot water will be ejected into the container. Turn off the hot water when the desired amount is reached.
- Turn off the hot water switch.
Note: Check the water level in the tank frequently. Refill if necessary. Avoid touching hot surfaces of the machine with your hands, especially the brewing outlet and steam nozzle.
Heating Liquid
- Pour cold liquid into a stainless steel cup, filling it to about 1/2 of the cup.
Note: The cup diameter should not be less than 70 ± 5mm.
- Press the steam button. The machine will start preheating, and the steam indicator will flash. Wait for the indicator light to turn on.
- Place the cup under the steam nozzle.
- Turn on the knob, release steam, and insert the steam nozzle into the liquid.
- Turn off the knob when the desired temperature is reached.
Note: When steam stops, clean the steam nozzle immediately and release the liquid in the pipe to prevent scaling. The surface temperature of the steam pipe is very high during use, so be careful not to get scalded.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Turn off the machine and wait for it to cool down.
- Wipe the machine housing with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive sponges, detergents, or solvents. Do not immerse the machine in water.
- Clean the steam outlet, ensuring there is no blockage.
- Clean the coffee outlet and the rubber seal.
- Turn on the steam switch to rinse the coffee outlet until no coffee oil residue remains.
- Clean all detachable components and dry them thoroughly.
Cleaning Mineral Deposits
- The machine builds up limescale deposits over time, and descaling is recommended every 2-3 months.
- Pour water and descaler into the water tank up to the MAX capacity (water and descaler ratio is 4:1). Follow the descaler's instructions. You can use a household descaler or citric acid (water and citric acid ratio is 100:3).
- Lock the filter holder (without coffee powder) into the group head.
- Press the coffee button, then brew about 150ml of coffee. When the coffee indicator lights up, turn off the coffee button. Turn on the steam button, open the knob after the steam indicator lights up, release steam for about 2 minutes, and then turn off the knob. Allow the descaler to sit in the machine for at least 15 minutes.
- Repeat step 4 three times.
- Press the coffee button to brew coffee until there is no descaler left.
- Brew coffee again (without coffee powder), repeat step 4 three times (no need to wait 15 minutes), then brew until there is no water left in the boiler.
