Important Placement Guidelines
- Place units away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and vents for accuracy.
- Maximum wireless range: 150 m (500 ft).
- Position away from large metallic objects, thick walls, and metal surfaces to maximize range.
- Keep away from electronic devices (TV, computer, microwave) to prevent signal interference.
Using the Weather Station
Viewing Measurements of Outdoor Sensors
Press +/CH repeatedly to view data from paired sensors. No data displays if no sensor is paired or connected (?? may appear).
24 Hour Temperature and Humidity Memory
Hold HEAT/DEW, then press MEM/+CH to view the last 24 hours of temperature and humidity data.
Weather Forecast
The station predicts weather for the next 12-24 hours with 75% accuracy based on air pressure. It displays animated icons: ☀️ Sunny, ?️ Partly Sunny, ☁️ Cloudy, ?️ Rainy, ⛈️ Stormy. Allow 7 days for barometer calibration.
Heat Index/Dew Point
Press HEAT/DEW repeatedly to view current dew point and heat index.
View/Reset Min/Max Values
- Press MEM once for maximum temperature values.
- Press MEM twice for minimum temperature values.
- Hold MEM for 3 seconds to reset min/max values.
Radio Clock
- ? icon: RCC signal received.
- No signal: RCC signal not received.
Moon Phase
The station displays 8 moon phase states. A new moon is shown when no icon is visible (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?).
