APP Mobile App Functions
Please personalize these functions through the Segway Mobility app.
- Starting Speed
- Allow others to connect
- Energy Recovery [1]
- Cruise Mode (*Only for model 051402UU)
[1] Notes on Energy Recovery function:
Introduction: Set the Energy Recovery level in the "Segway Mobility" app: Off/Strong/Weak.
1. By default, the vehicle's Energy Recovery function is set to "Off". Users can activate or deactivate the Energy Recovery function in the "Segway Mobility" app.
2. Once the Energy Recovery function is activated, releasing the throttle while riding will automatically engage this function. The motor will then generate a reverse electromotive force, causing the vehicle to decelerate and creating a noticeable slowing sensation (similar to pulling the brake lever).
The intensity of the Energy Recovery function can be adjusted to "Strong" or "Weak". When set to "Strong", the deceleration is more pronounced.
Safety Tips:
a. Before using the Energy Recovery function while riding, practice in a safe environment until you are familiar with its operation and effects. Please note that this function may provide additional resistance to reduce the scooter's speed when the throttle is released, supplementing the standard friction and braking mechanisms. Therefore, users must control the vehicle properly and maintain good balance for a safe ride.
b. Energy Recovery is intended to assist, not replace, the braking system. When you need to stop or slow down safely, please use the brake by pulling the brake lever.
c. Please exercise caution when using the Energy Recovery function on downhill slopes or under special riding conditions to prevent falls. Releasing the throttle on a downhill slope may still result in acceleration due to gravity and inertia. Due to the acceleration, Energy Recovery will engage simultaneously, providing a braking force that requires careful balance maintenance.
d. The Energy Recovery function is not triggered while the scooter is in cruise control mode. After exiting cruise control, releasing the throttle will initiate Energy Recovery (if already activated in the app), causing a distinct deceleration.
e. Once the Energy Recovery function is activated, it will remain on until manually turned off via the "Segway Mobility" app. The function does not deactivate automatically if the vehicle is turned off or the battery is depleted. The vehicle's dashboard does not display the status of the Energy Recovery function, which can only be checked and adjusted (Off/Strong/Weak) within the app.
f. Please inform any scooter user about the current Energy Recovery settings to ensure they are aware of how the function affects the scooter's performance.
g. If you have any questions regarding this function, please contact technical support.
Charging
Charging Port:
Your electric scooter is fully charged when the LED indicator on the charger changes color from red (charging) to green (fully charged).

- Plug in the charger.
- Close the cap covering the charging port.
How to Ride
Step 1: Turn on the scooter.
Step 2: Step onto the footboard with one foot and push off with the other.
Step 3: Decelerate by releasing the throttle and gently applying the brake.
Step 4: Place both feet on the footboard and stand stably. Gently press the throttle for acceleration once your body is balanced. Note: For your safety, the electric motor will not accelerate until the scooter reaches a speed of 3 km/h.
Step 5: For left/right turns, select the left (<-) or right (->) turn signal button. The turn signal will flash continuously. To turn it off, return the switch to the middle position. (*Only for models 051402BB, 051401EE.)
Step 6: To turn, lean your body slightly in the direction of the turn and gently steer with the handlebar.
Step 7: After riding, deploy the kickstand.
