ACT USB Hard Drive Adapter 2.5" / 3.5" SATA / IDE

SATA Connection

Follow these steps to connect your 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drive:

1. Connect the power adapter to the USB cable.

   Visual: A black power adapter is connected to a USB cable.

2. Connect the USB cable to the adapter.

   Visual: The USB cable is connected to a black adapter box.

3. Connect the adapter to the SATA hard drive.

   Visual: The black adapter box is connected to a SATA hard drive.

4. Connect the SATA power cable to the adapter.

   Visual: A red SATA power connector from the adapter box is plugged into the hard drive.

5. Connect the SATA data cable to the adapter.

   Visual: A black SATA data cable from the adapter box is plugged into the hard drive.

6. Connect the adapter to your computer via USB. The setup is now complete.

   Visual: The complete setup (adapter, cables, hard drive) is connected via USB to a laptop and a desktop computer.

IDE Connection

Follow these steps to connect your 2.5" or 3.5" IDE hard drive:

1. Connect the power adapter to the USB cable.

   Visual: A black power adapter is connected to a USB cable.

2. Connect the USB cable to the adapter.

   Visual: The USB cable is connected to a black adapter box.

3. Connect the adapter to the IDE hard drive.

   Visual: The black adapter box is connected to an IDE hard drive.

4. Connect the IDE power cable to the adapter.

   Visual: A white IDE power connector from the adapter box is plugged into the hard drive.

5. Connect the IDE data cable to the adapter.

   Visual: A black IDE data cable from the adapter box is plugged into the hard drive.

6. Connect the adapter to your computer via USB. The setup is now complete.

   Visual: The complete setup (adapter, cables, hard drive) is connected via USB to a laptop and a desktop computer.
