Item Number: Z-57MM2QZN-4674
WARNING: Safety Precautions
(To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury):
- Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Read these instructions carefully and save them for future reference.
- NEVER attempt any electrical work without first shutting off the electricity at the main fuse or circuit breaker box and ensuring the wall switch is in the "OFF" position.
- Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, and at least 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps exceeding 3/16" should be corrected.
- Verify that the mounting surface can support the weight of the lamp.
- Confirm the voltage is 120V. The maximum wattage per bulb is 40W.
- Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances to prevent surface damage.
- When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and allow bulbs to cool completely, as they get hot quickly.
- These safety instructions do not cover all possible conditions. Use common sense, caution, and care when working with any electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
- Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and verify all parts and accessories are present as illustrated.
- Turn off power: Before installation, ensure electricity is shut off at the main fuse/circuit breaker and the wall switch is in the "OFF" position.
- Make assembly: Follow the step-by-step diagrams (A1-A5) for assembly.
Step A1: Prepare Back Plate
Remove knob nuts (F) from the back plate (E) and set aside. Screw lower tubes (J) onto the bottom of the sockets (I).
Step A2: Mount the Plate
Carefully pass the supply wires through the outlet box via the mounting plate (D). Secure the mounting plate (D) to the outlet box using mounting screws (A).
Step A3: Make Wire Connections
Connect wires as shown in the wiring diagrams. IMPORTANT: The ground wire is bare copper wire. Never connect other wires to the ground wires.
Ground Wire Connection: Connect the ground wire from the outlet box to the green ground screw on the fixture.
Wire Connections Chart:
| Connect Black or Red Supply Wire to: | Connect White Supply Wire to: |
|---|---|
| Black (*Parallel cord: round & smooth) | White (*Parallel cord: square & ridged) |
| Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without tracer | Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with tracer |
| Insulated wire (other than green) with copper conductor | Insulated wire (other than green) with silver conductor |
*Note: When parallel wires (SPT I & SPT II) are used, the neutral wire is square-shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round or smooth.
Twist wires together using plastic wire connectors until secure. Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape, ensuring no wire strands are exposed. Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
Step A4: Attach Back Plate
Align the holes in the back plate (E) with the pre-assembled mounting screws on the mounting plate (D). Attach the back plate (E) using the knob nuts (F) removed in Step A1. Hand tighten until snug.
NOTE: The back plate (E) should be snug against the wall. If not, remove the back plate (E) and adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled mounting screws on the mounting plate assembly (D): first, unscrew the pre-assembled hex nuts; then, screw the pre-assembled mounting screws in or out of the mounting plate (D); when the correct length is achieved, tighten the pre-assembled hex nuts and proceed back to Step A4.
Step A5: Install Glass Shades and Bulbs
- Carefully place glass shades (G) onto the sockets (I) and secure them with screws (H).
- Install bulbs (not included). Do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended for the socket.
4. Final Check: Once everything is installed correctly, you may turn on the light. Enjoy!
