About the App

The Miracle-Ear App, developed by AmplifonX, the Research and Development department of Amplifon S.p.A., is designed to provide users with the ultimate Miracle-Ear experience. It allows for effortless pairing and management of compatible Miracle-Ear hearing aids.

With the app, users can adjust hearing programs, volume levels, and background noise settings. It also provides access to personalized usage statistics and customer support for a seamless experience.

Getting Started

Compatibility

The Miracle-Ear App is compatible with smartphones supporting Bluetooth® Low Energy (BT-LE) and running on:

• iOS® 15 or later
• Android™™ 9 or later

A Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is required for full functionality. The app is exclusively compatible with smartphones.

Hearing Aids

To access hearing aid-related features, Miracle-Ear branded hearing aids with Bluetooth® connectivity are required. Functionality may vary based on the hearing aid model and settings configured by your Hearing Care Professional.

Installation

Download and install the Miracle-Ear App for free from the Apple Store (iOS smartphones) or Google Play Store (Android smartphones).

• On iOS devices: Open the App Store, search for "Miracle-Ear App", select it, and tap "Get", then "Install".
• On Android devices: Open the Google Play Store, search for "Miracle-Ear App", select it, and tap "Install".

Initial Setup

Upon first opening the app, you will be prompted to choose between Customer Mode and Guest Mode. Customer Mode is designed for Miracle-Ear customers who own compatible hearing aids and wish to connect them to the app, offering direct control over settings. Guest Mode allows users to explore the app's features without connecting hearing aids.

Pairing Your Hearing Aids

Your hearing aids connect to your smartphone using MFi (Made for iPhone), ASHA (Android Streaming for Hearing Aids), or Bluetooth®. The app facilitates pairing to enable features like tracking usage, selecting programs, and adjusting volume.

Preparation: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone, hearing aids are switched on and charged, and the app is updated. For optimal experience, pair hearing aids with your smartphone for streaming before pairing with the app.

The app provides step-by-step guidance for pairing, which may involve verifying existing connections, enabling location services, and restarting hearing aids if necessary.

• Explore: Pair hearing aids, access hearing education, book appointments, and view articles.
• My Area: Update your profile, view appointments, check hearing aid usage, adjust preferences, and access store information.
• Controls: Manage hearing aid settings, programs, and volume.
• Hearing Aids Management: Manage active programs and settings.
• Support: Access help and customer support.
