Warning and Caution

• Designed for 12V batteries; do not connect to higher voltage batteries.
• The PV Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) cannot exceed 35V.

• Avoid placing solar panels in partially sunny or shaded environments.
• Keep the controller away from water.
• Keep the controller within an environmental temperature range of -20°C to +55°C.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Ensure good heat dissipation.

Installation

The controller requires proper wiring for installation:

• Connect the solar panel's positive (+) terminal to the controller's solar positive (+) input.
• Connect the solar panel's negative (-) terminal to the controller's solar negative (-) input.
• Connect the controller's battery positive (+) terminal to the battery's positive (+) terminal.
• Connect the controller's battery negative (-) terminal to the battery's negative (-) terminal.

LCD Display Indication

The LCD screen can display various information:

• Menu 1: BAT Volt & Charge Curr - Displays battery voltage (e.g., 12.4V) and charge current (e.g., 5.8A).
• Menu 2: Device Temp - Displays device temperature (e.g., 39°C) and possibly other readings (e.g., 102°F).
• Menu 3: ERROR - Displays error codes (e.g., E00 for no error).

LED Display Indication

1) Battery SOC Indication

LEDs indicate the State of Charge (SOC) and charging status:

• SOC Levels:
• LED1: < 25% SOC (Battery Voltage 11.6V)
• LED2: < 50% SOC (Battery Voltage 12.1V)
• LED3: < 75% SOC (Battery Voltage 12.6V)
• LED4: > 75% SOC (Battery Voltage 13.2V)

Charging States:

• Float Flashing: Indicates float charging.
• Steady On: Indicates steady charging.

2) Battery Type Indication

The system allows selection of battery types:

• System Mode: View Mode, Set Mode.
• Operation: The current battery type is selected.

• Function Key:
• Long Press: Enter Set Mode.
• Short Press: Screen Page Switch.
• Set Mode (indicated by LCD or Battery LED):
• Long Press: Exit Set Mode and Save.
• Short Press: Edit Battery Type.
