Using the Walkie Talkie
Power On/Off
To power on, turn the 'Power/Volume Switch' control knob clockwise. You will hear a 'da' sound, followed by a series of sharp tones and a 'power on' announcement. The unit will then broadcast the current channel.
To power off, turn the 'Power/Volume Switch' control knob counterclockwise until you hear a 'ta-da' sound, indicating the intercom is off.
Channel Settings
The walkie-talkie has factory channels (H01~H22). Specific frequency ranges and their transmit power are:
- 462.5500-462.7250MHz: 32.18dBm
- 467.5625-467.7125MHz: 26.08dBm
Conversations
Ensure the walkie-talkie is switched on and set to the same channel as the intended recipient to communicate.
Different channels can be preset with different frequencies and transmitting power, which may prevent intercommunication between them.
Hold the walkie-talkie approximately 3-8cm in front of your mouth. Press and hold the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button to transmit your voice in real-time. Release the PTT button to receive.
Charging
Note: Please use a 5V power adapter for charging.
Connect the 5V power adapter to the charging interface.
Belt Clip Installation
If necessary, attach the supplied belt clip to the designated slot on the back of the walkie-talkie for easier carrying. To remove the belt clip, unscrew the two screws.
Installing an External Speaker/Microphone
Lift the rubber plug and insert the speaker/microphone cable into the speaker/microphone jack located on the top of the unit.
Basic Operations
Volume Adjustment
Turn the 'Power/Volume Switch' control knob clockwise to increase volume and counterclockwise to decrease volume.
Squelch Function
Press the '+' button for 2 seconds to activate squelch.
Channel Selection
Press the '+' button to select the next channel and the '-' button to select the previous channel.
Low Battery Warning
A low battery warning (⚠️) will sound with beeps and voice prompts ('Please charge' or 'Pease change battery') and the LED indicator will flash red (?) when the battery needs recharging or replacement.
Battery Power Saving
If activated, the battery power save function reduces consumption when no signal is received or no operation is performed for 10 seconds. It activates when the channel is not busy and deactivates upon receiving a signal or performing an operation.
Scrambling and Spreading
This unit supports scrambling and spreading functions, selectable via the frequency writing software as 'None', 'Scrambling', or 'Spreading' for each channel.
Special Sub-tone Function
This function can be enabled or disabled through the frequency writing software's frequency hopping item.
Flashlight Function
Long press the '-' key for 3 seconds to turn the flashlight on. Press '-' for 3 seconds for SOS lighting. Press '-' for 3 seconds again to turn the flashlight off.
Channel Lock Function
Long press the '+' key for 10 seconds to activate channel lock (indicated by a 'tick' sound). Long press '+' for 10 seconds again to unlock (indicated by three 'tick' sounds).
One-Key Frequency Pairing
To initiate pairing, tune machine A to the first channel and press and hold the squelch key to enter pairing mode (blue light flashes slowly). Machine B transmits to machine A. Machine A will emit a 'beep' ([beep sound]) and the blue light will flash rapidly upon successful pairing, saving the current frequency and channel.
Note: After frequency pairing, reboot the machine to use it, otherwise it may consume excessive power.
Wireless Cloning
This feature allows copying all channels from a master radio to other radios within range wirelessly.
