PUDU SH1 Software Operation Guide

Preface

Purpose

This operation guide is designed to help users understand and utilize the software features of PUDU SH1. It provides a detailed overview of the software's functions and includes easy-to-follow instructions for navigating and operating the software on the machine. For more detailed instructions on operating the PUDU SH1 machine, please refer to the "PUDU SH1 User Manual".

1. Using the Product Software

1.1 Quick Start Guide

1.1.1 Power On

Press and hold the power switch for 3 seconds until the startup animation appears on the screen and a startup sound is heard, indicating that the machine has been successfully turned on.

1.1.2 Power Off

Press and hold the power switch for 3 seconds until the screen turns off, indicating that the machine has shut down successfully.

1.1.3 Standby

Standby refers to a state in which there is no manual operation (including operation of the screen and buttons) while the machine is powered on. If the machine remains in standby mode for more than 20 minutes, it will automatically shut down.

1.1.4 Recharge

  1. When charging the battery with the battery connected to the machine, the machine screen displays the charging progress and the estimated remaining charging time.
  2. During the charging process, you can still access the Settings menu. The status bar will continuously display the ongoing charging progress. If there is no user activity for more than 5 minutes, the screen will automatically return to the charging display.
  3. When the battery is fully charged, the screen will indicate that the battery is at maximum capacity, and the machine will remain powered on without shutting down.
  4. When the charging cable is disconnected, the machine will go into standby mode.
  5. If you charge the machine while it's off, it will not turn on automatically. You can turn it on manually if necessary.

1.2 First-time User Guide

For users who are using the machine for the first time, there is a step-by-step setup process that provides guidance. This process includes selecting the desired language, configuring network settings, and receiving recommendations for recommended usage modes.

1.2.1 Language

Select your desired language, and you can modify it in the settings. Please note that some models only support Simplified Chinese.

1.2.2 WLAN

Select the Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Please ensure that the router supports 2.4 GHz frequency.

1.2.3 Mode Recommendations

Based on your specific cleaning needs, select the stain type, floor material type, and accessory type in the given order. The system will automatically recommend four cleaning modes tailored to your selection.

1.3 Start Operation

  1. Upon starting operation, the home screen will display the pre-set cleaning modes (up to 1 to 4 modes). You can swipe left or right ⬅️➡️ to switch between them.
  2. To access other modes quickly, you can navigate away from the home screen and enter other modes to use other modes available.
  3. Press the operation button to enter the working interface, where you can conveniently switch between different cleaning modes directly on the screen.

1.4 Settings

1.4.1 Cleaning Modes

A total of nine cleaning modes are available. Users have the flexibility to customize their cleaning experience by selecting 1 to 4 frequently used modes to display on the home screen. In addition, users can access detailed descriptions of each mode to make informed decisions based on their specific cleaning needs.

1.4.2 Consumables Maintenance

1. The machine has a consumable reminder function. The default setting is off.

2. Different consumables, such as brushes, pads, and squeegee rubbers, have their own specific replacement cycles.

3. The consumables reminder provides three status levels: "Healthy" ✔️, "Medium Wear and Tear", and "Please Replace". Each time the machine is turned on, a reminder is displayed for consumables that are past their expiration date.

1.4.3 Operation Button

1. The operation button can be set to start and stop the cleaning operation by pressing either side individually or by simultaneously pressing both sides.

2. By default, the cleaning operation can be started or stopped by pressing both sides of the operation switch.

1.4.4 Operating Data

You can view the Total Hours of Cleaning Work and the Total Power-On Time.

1.4.5 Tutorial Settings

You can access tutorial videos on how to use the machine. These tutorial videos cover various topics, such as operation, routine maintenance, and consumable replacement.

1.4.6 Bound Account

You can view the PUDU Link account of the store to which the machine is bound. If your machine is not currently bound to any PUDU Link account, you can reach out to the distributor to bind it and unlock a wider range of digitized features.

1.4.7 Power-on Authentication

You can check if this feature is enabled and set it up on PUDU Link if it is not already enabled. Once enabled, you will be prompted to enter a 4-digit password each time the machine is turned on. Multiple passwords can be set up simultaneously on PUDU Link.

1.4.8 Lease Management

You can view the rental duration of the machine. If it is not enabled, you can set it on PUDU Link. Once enabled, you can view the machine's rental expiration date. When the machine reaches its rental expiration date, it will be automatically locked, and you can unlock it on PUDU Link.

1.4.9 Anti-Theft Locking Mode

You can view the anti-theft status of the machine. If it is not enabled, you can set it on PUDU Link. Once enabled, you can remotely lock the machine or set it to lock automatically if it is disconnected from the Internet for an extended period of time via PUDU Link.

1.4.10 Wi-Fi

With this feature, you can easily connect to the Internet. Please note that it only supports Wi-Fi networks where you can directly input the password. Additionally, it is compatible only with routers that support the 2.4 GHz frequency band.

1.4.11 Language

The software supports multiple languages, allowing you to choose your preferred language.

1.4.12 UI Style

The software offers different interface styles for you to choose from. You can select either the light mode or the dark mode, based on your personal preference.

1.4.13 Firmware Upgrade

You can check the current version and latest version of the firmware. Additionally, you have the option to upgrade to the latest version.

1.4.14 Reset

If the machine is currently bound to a PUDU Link account, it is necessary to first unbind it before proceeding with the machine reset.

1.4.15 About

You can view machine information such as the serial number (SN) and MAC address.

2. Abnormality Instructions

When the machine detects an anomaly, the software interface will provide prompts and guidance to assist you.

Some anomalies can be dismissed and allow you to continue using the machine, such as low battery ?, insufficient solution tank water ?, and consumable parts reminder.

However, there are certain anomalies that cannot be dismissed, and you must resolve them before you can continue using the machine. Examples of such anomalies include board abnormal and SN abnormal.
