3. External Structure Display
Front View
The front of the monitor features the LCD screen and several control buttons:
- Power Indicator light [Power On/Off]
- Custom button F: Enters secondary menu item F, then self-defines the function as user needs.
- Custom button: Same as F4 operation.
- Multi button: In OSD Menu, used for up adjustment. See F4.
- Multi button: In OSD Menu, used for down adjustment. It can be custom button when not in OSD. See F4.
- Menu button
- Volume up: In OSD menu, increases the value of analog on the menu.
- Volume down: In OSD menu, decreases the value of analog on the menu.
- Signal switch button

The rear of the monitor includes various ports and compartments:

6. Power Supply Mode
Via Power Adapter (AC)
Connect the power adapter to the DC input port.
Via Battery (DC)
The monitor can be powered by a compatible battery (e.g., F970 type) via the battery mounting position.
7. Installing the Camera Ball Head
Follow these steps to mount the monitor:
- Attach the Monitor Assembly Tightening Screw to the threaded hole on the base of the monitor.
- Screw the tightening screw clockwise to secure the monitor tightly to the ball head.
- To adjust the camera angle, rotate the Angle Adjustment Knob counter-clockwise to loosen, then tighten it clockwise until the desired angle is held.
- Ensure the Base Tightening Mount is loosened by rotating it counter-clockwise.
- Insert the base mount into the cold shoe bracket by sliding it into the mount in the bottom center position of the monitor.
- Rotate the Base Mount Tightening Screw clockwise to tightly affix the ball head onto the camera's hot shoe.
8. Installation of Sunshade Hood
To install the sunshade hood:
- Attach the fastening tape at the left, right, and back sides of the monitor.
- Next, slide the sunshade hood lock hooks into the slots on the left and right sides of the monitor. This will secure the sunshade to your monitor.
9. Functional Introduction
Image Setting
Adjust the image parameters via the OSD menu:
- Picture Mode: Dynamic, Standard, Mild, User. Select 'User' to adjust Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness.
- Brightness: 0-100. To adjust image brightness.
- Contrast: 0-100. To adjust the brightest and darkest ratio of the image. Note the picture's sense when adjusting; proportions too high or too low may cause color loss.
- Saturation: 0-100. To adjust color concentration.
- Sharpness: 0-100. Also called "Resolution", it is an indicator for the image plane.
- Color Temp: 6500, 9600, User. Select image white color temperature. When selecting 'User', adjust R/G/B to meet different user requirements.
- Red: 0-255. Adjust the red concentration.
- Green: 0-255. Adjust the green concentration.
- Blue: 0-255. Adjust the concentration of blue.
- Tint: 0-100. Color tint is adjusted by Tint when displaying video under NTSC System.
Set up
Configure display and menu settings:
- OSD Language: Available languages include Chinese, English, Suomi, Srpski, Italiano, Romnete, Hrvatski, Portugues, Nederlands, Français, Español. Select the display menu language.
- Aspect Ratio: Options include Just Scan, Panorama, Auto, 4:3, 16:9, Zoom 2. Select the image aspect ratio.
- No signal: Options include Blue, Black, White, Red, Green. Select the screen background color when there is no signal.
- OSD Trans: Off, low, middle, High. Adjust the transparency of the image background when the menu is displayed.
- OSD H: 0-100. Adjust the OSD position horizontally.
- OSD V: 0-100. Adjust the OSD position vertically.
Function Setting
Configure various display functions:
- Center Marker: Off / On. To set the center mark (crosshair) display.
- Safe Frames: Off, 96%, 93%, 90%, 85%, 80%, 2.35:1. To select the screen marker.
- Image Freeze: Off / On. Captures the current picture.
- Image Flip: Off, H_V Flip, H Flip, V Flip. Controls image flipping.
- Check Field: Off, Mono, Red, Green, Blue. Switches between color and monochrome display modes.
- P2P: Off / On. Adjusts display mode for resolution consistency.
- Focus Assist: Off / On. Enables focus assist function.
OSD Time & Zoom Settings
- OSD Time: Off, 5s, 10s, 15s. Adjusts the menu display duration.
- U/D Zoom: 0-100. Adjusts the image proportion vertically (Zoom In/Out).
- L/R Zoom: 0-100. Adjusts the image proportion horizontally (Zoom In/Out).
- Soft Ware Upgrade: Function for software updates.
- Reset: Resets settings to default.
Custom Button Settings
Users can set 4 shortcut keys (F1, F2, F3, F4) for functions like Center Marker, Safe Frames, Check Field, Focus Assist, Aspect Ratio, and Image Flip to meet customized needs.
Steps to set a shortcut key (Example: F1 for Center Marker):
- Navigate to the "F" menu in the OSD interface.
- Use the navigation buttons (e.g., Up/F1, Down/F2) to highlight the desired shortcut key (F1/F2/F3/F4) on the left side of the screen.
- Press the ">" button to select the function you need, then press "MENU" to confirm.
Available custom button functions include: Center mark, safety box, monochromatic display, auxiliary focus, display ratio, and image flip.
10. Precautions
- [Rain Warning] Please do not use the item in the rain. Water damage is not covered by warranty and could result in severe physical harm to the operator via electric shock.
- [Battery Fire Warning] Please do not dispose of batteries in a fire or incinerator, as they may explode if exposed to extreme heat.
- [Heavy Object Warning] Please do not put heavy objects on the monitor. Physical damage is not covered by the warranty.
- [Liquid Warning] Please do not directly use liquid like water or alcohol to wash or clean the monitor. A dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth is recommended to avoid hazing and scratching of the panel.
11. CAUTION
- Please avoid heavy impact and dropping the product onto the ground when moving it.
- Do not cover the vents and holes on the enclosure and do not place the machine on a bed, sofa, or rug to ensure good ventilation. Otherwise, it will lead to overheating and reduce the service life.
- The screen of this product is made of glass. Please do not impact the screen towards the ground. Keep away from injury if the screen is broken.
- Keep the product away from heat sources, such as radiators, water heaters, and stoves.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, as the LCD screen will be damaged.
- Please use the adapter included as an accessory, or use the qualified battery if needed.
- To avoid damaging the product, please do not take it apart or repair the unit by yourself without adjustable components.
Screen Maintenance
To better maintain the LCD screen, please follow these guidelines to avoid scratches, discoloration, or other damage:
- Please refrain from using hard objects to hit the screen.
- Please do not force to wipe the screen.
- Please do not use chemical solutions to clean the screen.
- Please do not spray any detergent on the screen.
- Please do not write on the screen directly.
- Please do not stick anything on the screen.
- Please simply wipe with a clean soft cloth and ensure no water remains on the screen.
Plastic Cover Maintenance
To better protect the plastic cover, please follow these ways to avoid damage:
- Please do not use chemical solutions to clean the cover.
- Please keep away from volatile things.
- Please keep away from rubber.
- Please do not clean the hard casing.
- Please simply wipe with a clean soft cloth and ensure no water remains on the cover.

The following conditions are NOT covered by the NEEWER Warranty:
- The product has expired the one-year warranty period.
- The product is malfunctioned or damaged because the user did not follow the F100 Instruction Manual to use, adjust, or operate the product.
- The product is malfunctioned or damaged due to rain, hailstorm, fumigation, medicine, chemicals, or natural wastage, and due to force majeure (including but not limited to earthquake, Typhoon, fire, flood, violent crime).
- The user modifies, dismantles, or repairs the product and its parts without permission.
- User damaged the parts of F100 by using non-original accessories, or changed the circuit, line configuration without permission.
- The product is malfunctioned or damaged by collision or fall-off due to the user.
- The Warranty Card, After-sale Service Card, invoice, or item No. does not conform to the product.
- The user changes the warranty service date of the product and its parts without permission.
- The panel and main parts are beyond the main tolerance range; the security label on the product is missing or damaged.
- F100 is used as a commercial product.
