Product Overview and Conventions

The rear panel of the power supply unit features a 0 dB Fan button, a power switch (labeled ON/OFF), and a standard AC power connector.

Note: Pressing the 0 dB Fan button will disable the 0 dB function, causing the PSU fan to spin continuously.

Installation Guide

Before connecting or disconnecting cables, ensure the system is turned off and all system power cables and connected devices are disconnected from power.

1. Follow the case manufacturer's recommendations and attach the ROG STRIX PSU to the case using the mounting screws.
2. Connect the cable harnesses to the ROG STRIX PSU.
3. Connect the power connectors to the motherboard and peripheral devices according to your preferences. Detailed information on which devices can be connected to individual connectors is provided below:
   • Power connectors may vary depending on the ROG STRIX PSU model.
   • For detailed information on the location and connection of the power connectors listed below, refer to the motherboard user manual.
   • Connect the 24-pin or 20-pin Main Power Connector to the motherboard's 24-pin or 20-pin power connector.
   • Connect the 4+4-pin CPU +12V Power Connector to the motherboard's CPU power socket.
   • Connect the 4-pin Peripheral Power Connector to peripheral devices, if needed.
   • Connect the 6+2-pin PCI-E +12V Power Connector to PCI-E graphics cards.
   • Connect the SATA Power Connector to Serial ATA interface devices.
4. Connect the ROG STRIX PSU to the power source using the included power cable.
5. Set the Power Switch to the 'I' position to turn on the PSU.

Safety Information

• The PSU contains high voltage, making it very dangerous to open the PSU casing or attempt any repair or cleaning. NEVER under any circumstances should you open the PSU.
• Opening the PSU casing will void the warranty; there are no serviceable parts inside the PSU.
• DO NOT insert any objects into the PSU.
• DO NOT place any objects in front of the fan or ventilation openings of the PSU that could block or restrict airflow.
• USE ONLY modular cables included with the PSU.
• DO NOT use the PSU near water or in environments with high temperature or humidity.
• The PSU should operate in a suitable environment (Operating temperature: 0° to 50°C, Relative humidity: 20% to 80%).
• The PSU is intended for installation in a computer and is not designed for outdoor or external use.
• Failure to comply with any of the manufacturer's recommendations or any safety instructions will immediately void all warranties and guarantees.
