Instructions for use

Thank you for purchasing this product. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure that you can use the machine correctly. After reading the instructions, please keep it for future inspection.

To prevent damage to the machine and to use the system safely, please:

Protect the display

Note

The machine display screen you see may be inconsistent with the picture in the manual, which is due to unannounced software upgrades and updates. This does not affect normal use.

Some functions (DVD, color LED, TV, etc.) are optional. The device you purchase may not include all the functions that this manual lists.

Troubleshooting

Malfunction Solution
Cannot power up Check the connection of ACC, B+, Ground.
1. Connect ACC with ignition line.
2. Connect B+ to the positive pole of the battery.
3. Connect Ground to Ground.
No image when reversing Connect the car DVD's reversing line with the car's reversing line, to ensure the reverse camera is workable.
Navigation does not work 1. If map goes wrong, uninstall then re-install the map.
2. If map data is destroyed, uninstall then re-install the map.
3. If GPS cannot search any signal, please check if the GPS antenna is well connected.
If well connected, make sure the antenna is exposed to the air.
If still not working, please replace with a new antenna.
The key light does not light 1. Check the headlight line connection.
2. Enable the button light on Setup.

Basic operation

Note: This table summarizes the definition of most of the panel buttons, but not every model contains all the keys. Some models contain only a small number of keys, which does not affect the use. If you have questions, please consult the dealer.

Open the system

Press the power button [1] for 1 second to activate the system.

Turn off the system

When the system is on, press and hold the power button [1] for 1 second to turn off the system.

Operating instruction for main interface

Main interface

  1. Press the button [3] . The interface will return to the default main interface.
  2. Slide to the left or right interface as you want.
  3. Press the button [5] . It will display the interface of system applications and third-party applications.
  4. Long press [4] . Go to the small window interface. Clear background running programs. Press the button [17] can replace the main interface wallpaper.

Move or Remove the icons

  1. Change the icon position: press and hold the icon; it will pop up and become larger. This time the icon is movable, and you can place it wherever you want.
  2. View APP information: press and hold the activated icon, drag the icon to [Info].
  3. Delete icon: press and hold the activated icon, drag the icon to [X].

Add shortcuts for initial master interfaces 1 and 2

  1. Press [3].
  2. Press and hold the icon to wait for the pop-up panel of the main interface 1 and 2 to pop up.
  3. Drag the icon to an empty position. If you drag it to other icons, it will form a folder.

Radio Operation

Radio Basic Operation

  1. Select the FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1 or AM2 band.
  2. Frequency display: left arrow switches to previous frequency manually. right arrow switches to next frequency manually.
  3. Displays the preset channel list; hold the key (P1-P6) to store the current broadcast frequency.
  4. Multi-function menu:
    signal icon Tunes in a station with good reception automatically.
    Short touch for non-stop seek tuning; touch again to cancel.
    Long touch for switching the preset channels; long touch again to cancel.
    locate/dx icon Change between Locate and DX mode.
    Switch frequency band.
    Touch to activate the RDS function.
    EQ and FAB settings: please see the EQ and FAB setting below.
  5. Mono and DX:
    DX: Displays LOC or DX.
    Mono: Displays Mono or Stereo, decided by the radio IC.

RDS

TP AF TA PTY
Shows the traffic station is on or not. Touch AF to light up; RDS can switch to a stronger signal frequency when the current frequency is weak, but keep the contents the same, only frequency different. Touch TA to light up; it can source the traffic info every minute, and stops to broadcast the traffic info once news comes in. Touch PTY to search by type.

Stores Channel

  1. Press the P1 key and hold to store the current channel to P1 key.
  2. Press the P2 key and hold, then store the current channel to P2 key. If P3, then to P3 key, etc.

Bluetooth Control

Connecting

  1. Activate the Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Touch search to search for the Bluetooth waiting for pairing.
  3. Touch the Bluetooth Device name (e.g., 'jj' or 'ther') for connecting.
  4. Type the pin code (default code is 0000 or 1234) on your phone.

Connecting a registered Bluetooth manually

  1. Activate the Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Touch the bluetooth icon to see the registered Bluetooth device list.
  3. Tick the box of the Bluetooth device name to connect.
  4. Type the pin code (default code is 0000 or 1234) on your phone.

Delete a registered device

  1. Touch the bluetooth icon to see the registered Bluetooth device list.
  2. Cross the box of the device name.
  3. Touch the cross, and it prompts, "Do you want to unpair the Device?"
  4. Touch OK; the device is deleted.

Hands-Free Call

1) Phone call

Touch the phone icon, type the phone number, and click call icon; the phone call is successful as shown below.

Cancel the phone call by touching the cancel icon, and touch the speaker icon to switch to speaker.

2) Phone book

Touch the phone book icon to enter the Bluetooth phone book interface, and follow the instructions to download the phone book.

  1. Touch the Bluetooth to change the Name.
  2. Sync phonebook.

Playing Bluetooth Audio Device

Click into BT music and play music of the device connected by BT.

Rear Camera

Note: The Reverse cable (pink color) of the power cable must be connected to the car's parking or reversing wire. Then, when parking or reversing, the parking screen will automatically display.

Red connects with the positive wire (B+) of the car's back light. Black connects with the negative wire (-) of the car's back light.

Note: For Car Navigation for Volkswagen (VW) with CANBUS, the video signal cable (5 red color) must be connected to the Reverse cable of the power cables. For other models, it is not necessary to connect the video signal cable to the reverse cable.

Note: The Music Player and the Video player work when the USB or the SD card is connected. And there are music or video in the USB or SD card.

Phone Link (method 1)

  1. Touch the phone link icon to enter the PhoneLink interface. Touch the Instructions.
  2. Turn on the Phonelink item on the head unit. Confirm the Phone's WIFI is open.
  3. Connect your phone to the head unit's BT. After done, it will show a window on the BT page, asking if you want to use the Carplay function. Please click yes and wait for connection.
  4. Turn off the head unit's hotspot; the wireless carplay will be disconnected.

Note: After the first connection, your phone needs to enter the BT device connection page, turn Carplay item on and off, then the connection will be finished.

Wire carplay function

Connect the iPhone to the head unit by cable (OTG port). Click "Use carplay" on your iPhone, then it will enter the Carplay page.

Wire Android Auto function

Connect the Android phone to the head unit by cable (OTG port), then it will enter the Android Auto page.

Phone Link (method 2)

  1. Touch the phone link icon to enter the PhoneLink interface. Touch the Instructions.
  2. Turn on the Phonelink item on the head unit. Confirm the Phone's WIFI is open.
  3. After the head unit is connected with BT, on the phone's home page, click the Setting item, then General, find the Carplay item and enter. In this page, find the head unit's name and connect it. Then a window will show on the phone; please click the "Use Carplay" item and wait for it to finish connecting.
  4. Turn off the head unit's hotspot; the wireless carplay will be disconnected.

Note: After the first connection, your phone needs to enter the BT device connection page, turn Carplay item on and off, then the connection will be finished.

Wire carplay function

Connect the iPhone to the head unit by cable (OTG port). Click "Use carplay" on your iPhone, then it will enter the Carplay page.

Wire Android Auto function

Connect the Android phone to the head unit by cable (OTG port), then it will enter the Android Auto page.

DSP Setting

  1. EQ interface: you can choose sound effects, such as Flat, Pop, Rock, etc.
  2. Curve interface: you can choose custom sound curve.
  3. FAB interface: You can set the sound balance.
  4. Delay interface: You can set the stereo and sound field delay.

  1. Press the Setup icon [⚙️] >> select General >> select Navigation split screen. Open the button [▶️].
  2. Press the Navigation icon [?️] >> Press the Split screen icon [?️].
