Overview

The Kogan Wireless Portable Bluetooth Speaker with RGB Light is a compact, cylindrical audio device. It features a textured black fabric grille covering the speaker body, with a prominent vertical RGB light strip on the front that can display various colors and lighting effects.

Control Panel

The control panel is located on the top surface of the speaker and includes the following buttons:

• Power button: Used for turning the speaker on/off and cycling through LED light modes.
• Mode button (M): Used for switching between audio input modes (Bluetooth, USB, microSD).
• Play button: Used for playing/pausing audio and other functions depending on the mode.
• Increase volume (+) button: Used for increasing volume and skipping to the previous track when held.
• Decrease volume (-) button: Used for decreasing volume and skipping to the next track when held.

Ports

The speaker is equipped with several ports, typically located on the rear or bottom:

• USB-C charging port: For charging the speaker's internal battery.
• USB port: For playing audio files from a USB storage device.
• microSD card slot: For playing audio files from a microSD (TF) card.

Operation

Charging

• Fully charge the speaker before first use. Connect the provided USB-C cable to a power source and the charging port on the speaker. The charging indicator will light up while charging and turn off when fully charged.
• Attach the USB-C charging cable to a USB power adapter (not supplied) or plug it into a vacant USB port on a computer or laptop.

Power On/Off & LED Light Mode

• Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the speaker on.
• Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn the speaker off.
• Press the power button once to cycle through LED light modes: Off → RGB Light → Flowing Light → Pulsing Light.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. With the speaker turned on, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
2. The speaker will emit an audio tone and beep twice.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and select 'S120' from the list of available devices.
4. The speaker will beep twice to confirm a successful Bluetooth connection.

Volume Control

• Press the decrease volume (-) button to decrease the volume.
• Press the increase volume (+) button to increase the volume.

Track Selection

• Press and hold the decrease volume (-) button to skip to the next track.
• Press and hold the increase volume (+) button to return to the previous track.

Music Mode Selection

The default mode is Bluetooth. If a USB storage device or microSD (TF) card is inserted, the speaker will recognise it as an audio source.

• To play audio files from a USB storage device, insert it into the USB port on the rear of the speaker.
• To play audio files from a microSD card, insert it into the microSD (TF) card slot on the rear of the speaker.
• Press the mode button once to switch between Bluetooth, USB, and microSD (TF) card modes.
