9. Safety Instructions

The electric scooter is a leisure device. However, when used in public areas, it is considered a vehicle and is subject to the same risks. For your safety, please follow the instructions in this manual and adhere to traffic laws and regulations set by government and regulatory agencies.

Understand that risks cannot be entirely avoided. Others may violate traffic regulations and drive incautiously, exposing you to road accidents similar to walking or biking. The faster the scooter, the longer it takes to stop. On smooth surfaces, the scooter may slip, lose balance, and cause a fall. Therefore, use caution, maintain proper speed and distance, especially in unfamiliar areas.

  • Respect pedestrians' right of way. Do not startle them while driving, especially children. When approaching pedestrians from behind, ring your bell and slow down to pass on their left (applicable in countries where vehicles drive on the right). When crossing paths with pedestrians, keep to the right at a low speed. When crossing pedestrian areas, maintain the lowest speed or dismount.
  • Closely follow the safety instructions in this manual. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any financial losses, physical injuries, accidents, legal disputes, or other conflicts resulting from actions that violate user instructions.
  • Do not lend your scooter to anyone who does not know how to operate it. If lending to friends, ensure they understand the operation and wear safety gear.
  • Check the scooter before every use. If you notice loose parts, low battery alerts, excessive wear, strange sounds, malfunctions, or other abnormal conditions, stop riding.
  • ⚠️ WARNING: Risk of Fire - No User Serviceable Parts.

10. Daily Care and Maintenance

Cleaning and storage

  • If you see stains on the scooter's body, wipe them off with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, apply toothpaste and brush with a toothbrush, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  • Notes: Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents to prevent damage.
  • Do not wash the scooter with a high-pressure water spray. During cleaning, ensure the scooter is turned off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed. Water leakage can cause electric shock or other serious problems. When the scooter is not in use, store it indoors in a dry and cool place.
  • Do not expose the scooter to excessive sunlight, overheating, or extreme cold for extended periods, as this can accelerate battery pack lifespan.

Use of Battery and maintenance

  • Use original battery packs. Using other models or brands may pose safety risks.
  • Do not touch the battery contacts. Do not dismantle or puncture the case. Keep contacts away from metal objects to prevent short circuits, which can lead to battery damage or injury/death.
  • Use the original power adapter to avoid potential damage or fire.
  • Mishandling of used batteries can cause significant environmental harm. To protect the environment, follow local regulations for proper disposal of used batteries.
  • After every use, fully charge the battery to prolong its lifespan. If possible, charge/discharge it once a month.
  • ⚠️ DO NOT place inflammables under the charger as heat is generated during charging. It is prohibited to cover or surround the charger with anything that might affect heat dissipation. The charger should be used in a well-ventilated place. If you notice peculiar smell, smoke, or excessive temperature (above 60℃) from the charger, stop charging immediately and have it repaired.
  • Lithium batteries can be dangerous when charging; please charge them outdoors.

Storage and Disposal

  1. Store the scooter in a cool and dry place between 14°F and 104°F (-10℃ and 40℃). In extremely humid environments, condensation or water accumulation inside the scooter may damage the battery rapidly. Devices are not intended for use at elevations greater than 2000m above sea level. Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and elements may damage enclosure materials. Store indoors when not in use.
  2. In daily use, try to avoid recharging the scooter only after the battery is completely exhausted. Charge it as soon as possible when the battery is low.
  3. Check if the electric part of the power-cut brake is well connected and if fasteners are loose. Make timely adjustments if necessary.
  4. Perform periodic examinations and maintenance, generally once every three months.
  5. Please keep the original packing with the scooter's lining carefully for better after-service.
