Audient iD24 Quick Start Guide
Welcome to your new Audient iD24 Audio Interface. This guide will help you get started.

Front Panel Overview
The iD24 features several controls and connections on its front panel:
- Channel 1 (Mic/Line Input): For connecting microphones or line-level sources.
- Channel 2 (Mic/Line Input): For connecting microphones or line-level sources.
- Instrument Input: A high-impedance input for guitars and basses.
- Dual Headphone Outputs: For connecting headphones.
- Volume Control: Adjusts the main output and headphone volume.
- Main Meters: Display input and output levels.
- Buttons: Including 48V phantom power, -10dB Pad, High Pass Filter, Dim, and Cut.

Rear Panel Overview
The rear panel provides further connectivity:
- Mic/Line Input 1: XLR/TRS combo jack.
- Mic/Line Input 2: XLR/TRS combo jack.
- Insert 1 (Send + Return): For inserting external processing equipment.
- Insert 2 (Send + Return): For inserting external processing equipment.
- Optical Input: ADAT or S/PDIF connection for expanding inputs.
- Optical Output: ADAT or S/PDIF connection for expanding outputs.
- USB-C Connection: Connects the iD24 to your computer.
- Word Clock Output: For synchronizing with other digital audio equipment.
- Speaker Outputs: Balanced TRS outputs for connecting studio monitors.

Installation - Windows
- Download the iD application for Windows from audient.com/iD24/downloads.
- Open the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. It is recommended to close other applications before starting.
- Connect the iD24 to your computer using the included USB-C cable (or a compatible USB-C to A cable). Ensure connection to a USB 3.0 port or higher. Windows may take a moment to finalize drivers.
- Run the iD application from your Start menu. You may be prompted to install a firmware update; follow the on-screen steps.
- A registration screen will appear. You can register your product with Audient ARC for updates and exclusive software, or do this later.
System Requirements (Windows):
- Windows 10 or Later
- Intel Core 2 @ 1.6Ghz, or AMD equivalent
- 1GB RAM
Installation - macOS
- Download the iD application for Mac from audient.com/iD24/downloads.
- Open the downloaded file and drag the iD icon to your Applications folder.
- Connect the iD24 to your Mac using the included USB-C cable (or a compatible USB-C to A cable). Ensure connection to a USB 3.0 port or higher.
- Run the iD application from your Applications folder. You may be prompted to install a firmware update; follow the on-screen steps.
- A registration screen will appear. You can register your product with Audient ARC for updates and exclusive software, or do this later.
System Requirements (macOS):
- OSX: 10.13.x (High Sierra) or later
- Intel CPU or Apple Silicon
- 1GB RAM Minimum
Using the iD Application
Once installed, the iD application runs in the background. You can access the iD Mixer by clicking the iD icon in your system tray (Windows) or menu bar (macOS).
Within the iD Mixer, you can:
- Adjust settings like buffer size and sample rate.
- Control input and output levels.
- Manage device settings.
