When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be adhered to:
- Read all instructions carefully and retain them for future reference.
- Before connecting to the power supply, ensure the unit is earthed and its voltage corresponds to the rating label.
- This appliance is intended for household use only and connected to an AC 220-240V power supply.
- The appliance must always be positioned horizontally during use.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if given supervision or instruction on safe use and understanding the hazards. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- CAUTION: Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the power cord, power plug, or unit in water or other liquids.
- Unplug from power supply when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before assembling/disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power cord, or if it has malfunctioned or been damaged. Never modify/repair the appliance yourself. Contact an authorized service personnel for examination and repair.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electrical shock, or injury.
- This appliance is not intended for outdoor or commercial use.
- Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or heated oven.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply after every use.
- Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Extreme caution must be exercised when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

GROUNDED PLUG
- This appliance has a grounded plug to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Contact a qualified electrician if the power plug does not fit fully into the power supply outlet. Do not modify the power plug in any way or use an adaptor.

Operating Instructions
- Connect the appliance's power plug to a power supply outlet.
- Both red and green indicator lights will illuminate when the heating plates are heated up.
- NOTE: The heating plates must be heated up before grilling.
- As soon as the appliance has heated up, the green light indicator light will disappear, indicating grilling can now begin.
- Open the appliance using the lock catch.
- Close the appliance, ensuring the lock catch is engaged.
- CAUTION: It will be difficult to close the appliance if the contents contain too much filling. Remove some filling and try again. Never forcibly close the appliance.
- During toasting, the temperature regulating thermostat switches off and on again. Both green and red indicator lights will also flash off and on repeatedly.
- After completion of the grilling process (approx. 2-3 minutes), open the lock catch and remove the food using a flat wooden or plastic spatula. Never use sharp or metal objects (e.g., knives, metal spatulas, etc.) as this will damage the Teflon coating.
- To grill more food, close the appliance again and wait until the toasting surfaces have reheated sufficiently.
- When the indicator light illuminates again, you can repeat the toasting process as described above.
- After grilling completes, disconnect the power plug from the power supply outlet immediately. Open the appliance to allow it to cool down before storing.
Care & Cleaning
- Only perform cleaning and maintenance when the appliance has completely cooled down.
- Clean the housing surface and heating plates with a soft, damp cloth.
- Remove toast or food crumbs using a soft brush.
- Never use abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (e.g., scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning to avoid damaging the Teflon coating.
- CAUTION: Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to avoid the risk of electric shock.
- This appliance is intended for use in household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments
- Farmhouses
- By clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments
- Bed and breakfast type environments.
Storage
- Always disconnect the power plug from the power supply before storage.
- Ensure the appliance is clean, cool, and dry before storage.
Disposal Information
