Operation Guide

Connecting Preparation

1. Bring your diffuser near the Wi-Fi router, prepare the Wi-Fi name and password as well as an email address. Add water to the tank.
2. For first use, please connect the device to power supply directly. For used devices, please unplug and reconnect before pairing.
3. Download Tuya Smart from App Store (iOS System) or Google Play (Android System).

Register and log in TuyaSmart

Please register via phone number or email, password must contain 6-20 characters, including letters and numbers.

Create Family

Connecting the device to Wi-Fi

Please wait until the green indicator light blinks rapidly (about 2 times per second). If it blinks once per second, long press the Wi-Fi button for 3 seconds to correct the frequency.

Notice: Please click "OK" button only when the indicator light blinks rapidly.

Wait until the circle reaches 100%. If the circle slows down significantly after reaching 25%, the connection may have failed. Unplug the diffuser for 2 minutes and try reconnecting.

APP Control Guide

Touch Controls:

• Power: Touch to turn on/off both the light and the mist.
• Spray: Touch to control mist. Options include Weak Mode & Strong Mode, and Spray Timer (ON/1H/3H/6H).
• Light: Touch to control light. Options include Gradient (automatic color cycle) and Fixed (single color with adjustable brightness). Nightlight mode fixes the light to green with adjustable brightness.
• Schedule: Touch to set mist or light schedules.

Notes:

• For successful pairing, it is recommended to operate near the Wi-Fi router.
• If your home Wi-Fi does not require a password, leave the password field blank.
• The device only supports 2.4GHz networks; 5GHz networks are unavailable.
• If adding the device fails, please unplug the diffuser for 2 minutes and try again.

QA:

Q: Router cannot access the Internet, does it support local area network? Can it directly connect to cell phone hotspots?

A: The Android version supports LAN control, while the Apple version currently does not. The device must be connected to the Internet via a router to communicate with the mobile server.

Q: Why can I not get a registered SMS verification code? Why can't my mobile phone connect to the device hotspot?

A: Permissions may be limited. Select "Allow" when prompted for authorization during installation.

Q: My router is 5GHz, but the diffuser only works with 2.4GHz. Can I connect with this diffuser?

A: Yes, some routers operate in dual-band mode (both 5.0GHz and 2.4GHz). To connect, you may need to temporarily disable the 5.0 GHz frequency and set up a guest network. After successful pairing, you can re-enable the 5.0GHz frequency.

Amazon Echo Connection

Power On The Diffuser

Follow the same steps as "Connecting Preparation" on page 2.

Register or Reset TuyaSmart

Please Register TuyaSmart Via Phone Number Or Email.

1. If the diffuser was added to TuyaSmart before, follow the steps below to remove the device from TuyaSmart.
2. If no device was added to TuyaSmart before, proceed to the next step.

Alexa Connection

1. Connect the Alexa device to the power supply.

2. Download the Alexa APP, log in to your Amazon Alexa account, and ensure the Echo/Echo Dot is set up and working properly. Refer to the "Echo/Echo Dot Operation Guide" or Echo user manual for setup assistance.

3. In the Alexa app menu, navigate to "Skills" and search for "TuyaSmart App".

4. Click "Enable" and enter your TuyaSmart account credentials (register first if you haven't). Authorize the connection.

5. Back in the TuyaSmart app, follow the "steps to connect with TuyaSmart" (refer to page 4) to add the device. If the diffuser was previously added, remove it, exit the app, and re-login to add it again.

Notice: The device must be added after Alexa has successfully authorized the TuyaSmart APP; otherwise, Alexa will not find the device.

6. Once the connection progress reaches 100%, Alexa will confirm: "I found a 'diffuser'. To control it, say 'turn on diffuser'." This indicates a successful connection, allowing control of the diffuser with Alexa.

Alexa Voice Command

Notice: Speak clearly and slowly for accurate Alexa responses.

Device On/Off Orders:

• "Alexa, turn on diffuser" / "Alexa, turn diffuser on"
• "Alexa, turn off diffuser" / "Alexa, turn diffuser off"

Color Setting:

• "Alexa, turn the diffuser [color]" (e.g., red, white, green, yellow, blue, purple, orange)
• "Alexa, change the diffuser to [color]" (e.g., white, green, yellow, red, purple, orange)

Percentage Setting—LED Brightness Adjustment:

• "Alexa, set diffuser to [10, 20, 30, 40, 50...] percent"

Tips: Due to partial integration of the TuyaSmart color control with the Amazon Alexa system, not all colors may be responded to correctly. Efforts are ongoing to improve this.

Echo/Echo Dot Operation Guide

Follow the on-screen prompts in the Alexa app for setup. This typically involves connecting the device to Wi-Fi, selecting the network (format Amazon-xxx), and entering the password.

Manual operation

MIST/WIFI Button:

• Press once: Turn on the mist.
• Press again: Turn off the mist.

HIGH/LOW Button:

• Short press: One beep for strong mist, two beeps for weak mist.

LIGHT Button:

• Press once: Turn on the light; color will cycle automatically.
• Press again: Fix the light at one color.
• Press three times: Color will cycle again.
• Long press for 2 seconds: Turn off the light.
