Installation Requirements
Clearances and Materials
The fireplace surrounding must be made of non-flammable materials and insulated from any flammable elements of the construction. Use only fasteners and adhesives that are resistant to high temperature.
Diagrams show minimum clearance requirements:
- Minimum distance from the front of the burner: min. L+10mm.
- Minimum vertical clearance above the burner: min. 290 mm.
- Minimum horizontal clearance from the sides: min. 400 mm.
- Minimum clearance from the top of the surrounding structure: min. 1000 mm.
- Minimum clearance from the back of the surrounding structure: min. 1500 mm.
Enclosure and Electrical
The space under the device must be closed.
Electrical connection requires a minimum of 3x1.5 mm² cable, 230 V, 50 Hz, with PE grounding.
Installation Options
Various installation options are shown, involving the use of glass shields (Item B) and optional tempered glass panels (Item I).
Ventilation
Diagrams illustrate ventilation requirements for different configurations (TV and AC). Ensure adequate airflow, with minimum area requirements such as 175 cm² and a minimum diameter of Ø150 mm for ventilation openings.
Operation
Control Panel
The control panel features:
- ECO button: Controls flame height (lower with two signals, higher with one signal).
- START/STOP button: Starts and stops the flame.
- Diodes: HOT, FUEL, READY, ERROR indicators.
- Service socket.
LED Indicator States:
- OFF: Flame/device status is off or not applicable.
- ON: Indicates device is ready, operating, or an error condition.
- Blinking: Indicates a specific state like cooling down or waiting.
Fuel Filling
Follow these steps to fill the fuel tank:
- Ensure the tank is empty or ready for refilling. Open the fuel inlet (I). Connect the pump hose 'a' (audible click) and power cable 'b' (II). ATTENTION: Do not refuel while the flame is ignited.
- Place the fuel container on a stable surface. Insert the pump hose 'c' (III) into the container. Press and hold the pump button (IV) to start refuelling. The pump will stop automatically when the tank is full (audible signal + READY LED).
- Disconnect the power cable 'b'. To disconnect the pump, hold the end of hose 'a' and press the button marked on the pump (V). Close the fuel inlet.
- Shake any remaining fuel from hose 'c' back into the container and store the pump in its bag (VI).
Flame Ignition
The green READY LED indicates the device is ready for ignition. Press and hold START for 3 seconds. Ignition takes 2-10 minutes. A faint smell of ethanol vapors may be present. When the READY LED turns off, the flame is ignited and the device has reached operating temperature.
Flame Height Regulation
When the flame is lit, press ECO to lower the flame (two signals). Press ECO again to increase flame height (one signal).
ATTENTION: If the device temperature is too high, the flame will automatically lower (ECO), and regulation will be blocked. If temperature continues to rise, the device will turn off.
Flame Extinguishing
Press STOP to extinguish the flame (one signal + HOT LED). The device can be reignited after cooling down (indicated by the green READY LED).
Fast Start
The FAST START function enables faster flame ignition. It increases standby power consumption by approximately 60 W. This function is enabled by default.
- To disable FAST START: Press and hold ECO for 10 seconds (four signals).
- To enable FAST START: Press and hold ECO for 10 seconds (two signals).
Troubleshooting and Error Messages
Some alarms are accompanied by a sound signal. Press START/STOP to mute.

Fuel and Maintenance
Fuel Recommendations
Use only ethanol fuel produced from plants via two-time alcohol distillation, consisting of 95-96.6% ethanol by volume. Fanola is the recommended fuel with pharmacological purity.
DO NOT USE: Synthetic petroleum-based fuels (contaminated, emit odors, can damage the fireplace), fuels with 100% ethanol by volume, gel, or aromatic fuels.
Cleaning
Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent only when the device is turned off and cooled.
