Important Safeguards
- Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances.

- Use extreme caution when moving appliances with hot oil or liquids.
- To disconnect, turn the timer control to [OFF] and remove the plug.
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
- Exercise caution when removing trays or disposing of hot grease.
- Do not clean with metal scouring pads.
- Do not insert oversized foods or metal utensils, as this may cause fire or electric shock.
- A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable material (curtains, walls, etc.) during operation. Do not store items on top of the unit when in operation.
- Use extreme caution with containers not made of metal or glass.
- Do not store materials other than manufacturer-recommended accessories in the oven when not in use.
- Do not place paper, cardboard, plastic, or similar materials in the oven.
- Do not cover the crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil, as this causes overheating.
- Turn the oven OFF by setting the toast/timer selector knob to the [OFF] position.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience/knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by an external timer or separate remote-control system.

Getting Started
- Remove all packing material, stickers, and the plastic band around the power plug.
- Register your warranty at www.prodprotect.com/blackanddecker.
- Wash all removable parts as instructed in "CARE AND CLEANING".
- Select a suitable location, ensuring adequate space from walls for heat circulation.
- Plug the unit into an electrical outlet.
Important Information About Your Oven:
- The oven gets hot; always use oven mitts or pot holders.
- Initial use may produce smoke and a slight odor, which is normal.
- The timer or "STAY ON" setting must be activated for the oven to function.
- Ensure food or baking dishes are at least 1.5 inches away from the top heating elements.
- Food should not extend beyond the edges of the bake pan/drip tray to prevent drippings on heating elements.
How to Use
Toasting
Preheating is not necessary for toasting.
- Set the temperature selector knob to TOAST.
- Set the FUNCTION selector knob to TOAST.
- Open the oven door and insert the slide rack.
- Place items to be toasted directly on the slide rack and close the door.
- Turn the toast shade selector knob to 10, then turn it back to the desired toast shade.
- The power indicator light turns on and stays on until toasting is complete.
- An audible signal indicates the end of the toast cycle; the oven and light turn off.
- Open the oven door. Using oven mitts or pot holders, slide the rack out to remove the toast.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use.
Note: The toast shade selector knob must be set for toasting to begin.
Natural Convection Baking
Note: For best results, preheat the oven for at least 10 minutes at the desired temperature.
- Set the temperature selector knob to the desired temperature.
- Turn the FUNCTION selector knob to BAKE.
- Turn the TIMER selector knob to 10, then adjust to the desired baking time (including preheat). Select "STAY ON" for longer baking or manual time control.
- The power indicator light turns on and remains on during baking.
- Heating elements cycle on/off to maintain even heat.
- Once preheated, open the door, insert food, and close the door.
Note: Use a metal, glass, or ceramic baking dish placed on the slide rack.
- If using the oven timer, an audible signal will sound when baking is complete. The oven turns off and the light goes out. If not using the timer, turn the oven to [OFF].
- Open the oven door. Using oven mitts or pot holders, slide the rack out to remove the cooked food.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use.
Broiling
Note: Preheat the oven for 10 minutes when broiling.
- Set the temperature selector knob to BROIL.
- Turn the FUNCTION selector knob to BROIL.
- Open the oven door. Use the bake pan as a drip tray, insert it under the slide rack, and place food directly on the slide rack/broil rack.
- Set the timer selector knob to 10, then adjust to the desired broiling time (including 5-minute preheat) or select "STAY ON".
Note: Food can be cooked in three ways: on the slide rack, with the drip tray on the slide rack, or with the drip tray under the slide rack.
- When broiling is finished, a signal bell sounds. Turn the TOAST/TIMER selector to [OFF]. The power indicator light goes off.
- Using an oven mitt or pot holder, slide out the broiling rack with the bake pan to remove food.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use.
Keep Warm
- Turn the temperature selector knob to KEEP WARM.
- Turn the FUNCTION selector knob to KEEP WARM.
- Turn the Toast/Timer selector knob past 10, then adjust to the desired warming time. Select "Stay On" for manual time control.
Note: This function keeps already cooked food warm for short periods. Cover food with foil to prevent drying.
- An audible signal indicates the end of the warming cycle; the oven and power light turn off.
- If not using the oven timer, turn the Toast/Timer selector knob to [OFF] when complete.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use.
Care and Cleaning
This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified personnel.
Cleaning
Important: Ensure the oven is off, unplugged, and cool before cleaning.
- Glass Door: Clean with a sponge, soft cloth, or nylon pad and sudsy water. Do not use spray glass cleaner.
- Slide Rack: Open the door, pull the rack forward and out. Wash in soapy water or a dishwasher. Use a polyester or nylon pad for stubborn spots.
- Bake Pan: Wash in sudsy water. Use a polyester or nylon pad to minimize scratching.
- Crumb Tray: Grasp the handle and pull out the tray. Dispose of crumbs and wipe with a damp cloth; dry thoroughly before replacing.
- Exterior Surfaces: Wipe the top and exterior walls with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
Cooking Containers
Metal, ovenproof glass, or ceramic bakeware without glass lids can be used. Follow manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the top edge of the container is at least 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) from the upper heating elements.
