Cabinet Assembly Steps
[Diagram: Exploded view of cabinet components labeled A through R]
2.2 19" Cabinet Assembly Steps (WF01 V2 Series)
2.2.1. Front Door Lock Installation
- Insert the lock module [O] from the bag through the door, ensuring the two parallel flat parts of the module are horizontal.
- Position the lock module's opening vertically using the keys.
- Screw on the nut, aligning the side with engraved triangles towards the door. Hold the lock module with keys and tighten the nut.
- Attach the flat metal lock tongue vertically (upwards if the door faces forward, downwards otherwise) to the square element of the lock module. Place the flat metal round washer, then the star-shaped washer. Secure with the screw.
2.2.2. Side Door Lock Installation
- Remove the side doors from the side frames [B + C]. Reinstallation will occur at a later stage.
- Insert the lock module [P] from the bag through the door, ensuring the two parallel flat parts are horizontal.
- Position the lock module's opening horizontally using the keys.
- Screw on the nut, aligning the side with engraved triangles towards the door. Hold the lock module with keys and tighten the nut.
- Attach the bent metal lock tongue horizontally (bent part facing the door) to the square element of the lock module. Place the flat metal round washer, then the star-shaped washer. Secure with the screw.
- Repeat steps 1-4 for the other side door [C].
2.2.3. Vertical Mounting Rails Installation
Pay attention to the front and rear sides of the side frames [B + C].
The distance between the centers of the small holes on the side frames [B + C] is 25 mm.
The maximum working depth between the front and rear vertical mounting rails (considering their thickness) is:
- I) For 450 mm cabinets: 379.5 mm.
- II) For 600 mm cabinets: 529.5 mm.
It is recommended to install the rear vertical mounting rails on the 3rd holes from the end of the side frames (50 mm difference) to accommodate devices with plugs and cables (approx. 55 mm depth).
- Lay two side frames [B + C] flat (without doors attached), with their front sides facing you.
- Use two numbered vertical mounting rails [G] and determine the required spacing between them on the left side frame [B].
- Ensure the numbering of the front vertical rails increases from right to left (as shown in diagrams) and similarly for the rear rails.
- Use a total of 4 M5*8 self-tapping screws [J] to attach the vertical mounting rails to the side frame (2 screws per end).
- Use two numbered vertical mounting rails [G] and determine the same spacing as in step 2 on the right side frame [C].
- Ensure the numbering of the front vertical rails increases from left to right (as shown in diagrams) and similarly for the rear rails.
- Use a total of 4 M5*8 self-tapping screws [J] to attach the vertical mounting rails to the side frame (2 screws per end).
[Diagram: Shows side frames with mounting rails being attached, indicating front/rear and numbering.]
2.2.4. Installation of Side Frames with Top and Bottom Cover
- Prepare the bottom cover [R] so that the cable grommet faces the rear.
- Position the left side frame [B] on the left side of the bottom cover, and the right side frame [C] on the right side.
- Before proceeding, ensure:
- I) Rail numbering increases from bottom to top on both front and rear vertical mounting rails.
- II) Opposite pairs of rails are mounted at the same height.
[Diagram: Shows bottom cover and side frames being assembled, with numbering indicators.]
- Place the top cover [D] with its rear cable grommet onto the side frames [B + C] and align it with their structure.
- Use a total of 4 M6*12 screws [K] to attach the top cover to the side frames (2 screws per side).
- Remember to:
- I) Systematically check the alignment of the top cover [D] with the holes on the side frames [B + C]. Do not fully tighten screws immediately. Insert all screws to about 2/3 height, check alignment, then tighten fully.
- II) Also, check that the small M4*8 screw holes [I] on the front of both covers and side frames align.
[Diagram: Shows top cover being attached to side frames, with detail of screw alignment.]
- Rotate the entire structure 180 degrees. Align the bottom cover [R] with the side frame structure.
- Use a total of 4 M6*12 screws [K] to attach the bottom cover to the side frames (2 screws per side).
[Diagram: Shows cabinet rotated, bottom cover being attached.]
Remember to:
- I) Systematically check the alignment of the bottom cover [R] with the holes on the side frames [B + C]. Do not fully tighten screws immediately. Insert all screws to about 2/3 height, check alignment, then tighten fully.
- II) Also, check that the small M4*8 screw holes [I] on the front of both covers and side frames align.
- Use a total of 4 M4*8 self-tapping screws [I] to attach both covers [D + P] to the side frames [B + C] from the front (1 screw per side).
2.2.5. Rear Cabinet Cover Installation
- Align the rear cover [F] so its 6 holes match the 6 holes on the rear of the side frames [B + C].
- Use a total of 6 M4*8 screws [I] to attach the rear cover to the side frames (3 screws per side).
[Diagram: Shows rear cover being attached.]
2.2.6. Flat Blank Panels Installation
- Align a flat blank panel [E] with the bottom cable grommet opening of the cover, ensuring screw holes align.
- Use 2 M4*8 screws [I] to attach the panel (1 screw per side).
- Rotate the cabinet structure 180 degrees.
- Align the other flat blank panel [E] with the top cable grommet opening, ensuring screw holes align.
- Use 2 M4*8 screws [I] to attach this panel (1 screw per side).
[Diagram: Shows blank panels being installed in top and bottom grommets.]
Cabinet Wall Installation
3. Cabinet Wall Installation
[Diagram: Shows wall mounting strip, screws, wall plugs, drill, and spirit level.]
- Prepare 4 wall plugs and 4 screws suitable for the cabinet's total weight and the wall mounting strip's 10 mm diameter holes. The distance between the centers of the larger holes on the strip is 69 mm, and between the outer holes is 468 mm.
- Align the wall mounting strip [H] with the wall and ensure it is level.
- Mark the 4 mounting holes on the strip (excluding the L-shaped brackets).
- Drill 4 holes at the marked locations and insert the wall plugs.
- Reposition the strip so there is space between its 2 L-shaped brackets and the wall for hanging the cabinet.
- Insert 4 screws into the wall plugs: 2 into the outer holes (one on each side) and then 2 into the inner holes.
- Hang the assembled cabinet by engaging its 2 rear top holes with the 2 brackets on the strip.
- Use 2 M4*8 self-tapping screws [I] to secure the rear of the cabinet to the 2 brackets on the wall mounting strip.
Door Reinstallation
4. Side Door Reinstallation
- Reinstall the side doors, which were removed earlier, onto the side frames [B + C]. Push the 2 latches inwards simultaneously until they align with the frame openings, then release.
- Use the keys [P] to lock the side doors.
5. Front Door Installation
- On one of the bottom holes of the bottom cover [R], where the front door pin [A] will be placed, apply the plastic washer [N].
- Insert the bottom pin of the front door [A] into the bottom hole through the plastic washer. Then, insert the top pin into the opening on the top cover [D], pushing the hinges (L-shaped) inwards. Release when aligned with the opening.
- Use the keys [O] to lock the front door.
[Diagram: Shows front door hinge installation.]
Grounding
6. Grounding
The cabinet has 4 grounding studs with a 6 mm diameter:
- 2x on the front door [A].
- 2x on the bottom cover [R].
The included grounding cable [M] consists of 42 strands of 100% copper (0.16 mm each), with a cross-section of approximately 0.9 mm². This cable is used to connect the bottom cover to the front door, allowing up to 180° opening.
To connect one of the main cabinet grounding studs (on the bottom cover) to a potential equalization terminal, a separate cable of appropriate length is required. The cable's AWG should be between 17-18, and its strands must be 100% copper.
