Justification for Confidentiality
IKEA of Sweden AB has invested significant effort in developing this product, which is one of the first of its kind in the industry. Making the subject information easily accessible to competitors would diminish the advantage achieved through this development, resulting in financial hardship.
Permanent Confidentiality:
The applicant requests that the exhibits listed above be permanently withheld from public review due to their content, which includes trade secrets and proprietary information not customarily released to the public.
Short-Term Confidentiality:
The applicant requests that the selected exhibits be withheld from public view for a period of 180 days from the date of the Grant of Equipment Authorization and prior to marketing. This measure is intended to prevent premature release of sensitive information before the product is marketed or released to the public. IKEA of Sweden AB acknowledges its responsibility to notify TUV Rheinland if information regarding the product or the product itself becomes available to the public. TUV Rheinland will then proceed with releasing the documents listed above for public disclosure, in accordance with FCC Public Notice DA 04-1705.
