Step 2: Link Your Gateway

Step 3: Control Your Site

Installation

The gateway can be installed both vertically and horizontally. Ensure sufficient free space (minimum 25 mm) for ventilation slots.

Pay attention to the antenna connector labels (symbols) to ensure correct antenna usage.

Position antennas orthogonally (90° to each other) and keep cables at a distance from antenna connections.

Caution: Avoid installing the gateway near powerful radio transmitters or sensitive devices that could be affected by emitted radio signals.

Rail Mounting

1. Hold the gateway at a slight angle over the upper edge of the top-hat rail. Click it into the upper opening (behind the suspension).

2. Press the gateway straight down. Ensure it clicks into the lower fixture before releasing.

Typical Connection Diagram

The gateway includes a connection for functional earth. Connecting it to the protective earthing in the control cabinet is recommended to improve immunity against conducted and radiated RF interference, and electrical transients through Ethernet cables.

A suitable separating device is required for installation.

Interfaces shown:

Connections: 24 VDC, GND, PE (Protective Earth).

Connection (Models X, XM) - SIM Card

SIM Card (Nano, Form Factor 4FF):

  1. Press with a small tool on the holder and pull it out.
  2. Place the SIM card from behind onto the holder.
  3. Push the holder back with light pressure.

Configuration

Gateway Controls:
