Food Dehydrators are used for gently removing moisture from fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, herbs and spices by using controlled low temperature heat. Air is circulated from the rear of the unit to each of the shelves and base. This method of drying food seals in the natural flavours and nutrients, leaving a highly nutritious and vitamin content.
Drying fresh fruit and vegetables enables you to enjoy these healthy treats all year round. Dried foods have a longer shelf life when stored in air-tight containers depending on the type of food and climate and do not require any artificial colouring and preservatives. Storing dehydrated food is simple, takes up little storage.
