Dimensions and Installation
Important: Requires a 5" free area between the bottom of the cooktop and any combustible material, such as shelving. This requirement is waived when installing a wall oven underneath the cooktop. Refer to installation instructions for specifics.
Cabinet Requirements: Requires a 15" minimum clearance from the cooktop to adjacent overhead cabinets. Units are supplied with a 48" flexible armored cable.
Compatibility: 30" Ribbon cooktops are approved for use over select Café 27" and Café 30" Single Wall Ovens and Warming Drawers. Always consult the specific installation instructions for the cooktop and the wall oven/warming drawer before installation. If installing with a Telescopic Downdraft System, consult both sets of instructions prior to installation, as the cooktop's gas/electric supply may need rerouting.
Countertop Cutout: Requires a minimum 23-1/2" flat countertop surface and a 25" minimum total countertop depth. Additional clearances to the front edge of the countertop must be considered. Consult the product's installation instructions for detailed dimensional data.
Cutout Filler Trim Kit: A filler trim kit (JXTR32B) is available to reduce the cutout opening for installation if your countertop cutout is larger than the specified dimensions (up to 29-13/16" x 20-7/16").
