1. Weather Station Features

1.4 Weather Station Appearance
The weather station features a main display unit and a wireless outdoor sensor. The main unit has a front display with various readouts and buttons on the back. The outdoor sensor is a compact unit designed for external placement.
2. Initial Operation and Notes
2.1 Initial Operation
To begin, open the battery compartments of both the weather station and the wireless remote sensor. Insert 2 x AA batteries into each, observing the correct polarity (+ and -). Close the battery compartments.
Upon connecting power, all icons on the LCD display will illuminate for 3 seconds, accompanied by a beep. The station will then begin detecting indoor temperature and humidity. It will also attempt to connect to the outdoor sensor, a process that takes about 3 minutes, indicated by a flashing RF icon.
Once connected to the outdoor sensor, the clock will automatically search for a DCF signal to set the time and date. A radio mast icon will flash during this search, which may take up to 7 minutes.
2.2 Notes for Customer before Use
During DCF signal search mode, only the [Snooze/Light] and [Set] buttons are functional. Backlight will not remain active. Pressing the [Set] button can cancel the DCF signal search, activating all buttons and backlight.
If the weather station fails to receive transmission from the outdoor sensor (indicated by "--"), press and hold the [Set] button for 3 seconds to initiate manual reception. The RF icon will flash, and the station will attempt to re-receive data. Alternatively, open the sensor's battery compartment and press the TX button to re-establish the connection.
3. Time, Time Zone and Calendar Setting
3.1 Manual Time Setting
Press the [Mode] button to switch between calendar and second display. Press and hold the [Mode] button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. Use the [▲] and [▼] buttons to set the 12/24 hour format.
Press [Mode] to confirm and proceed to time zone setting. Use [▲] and [▼] to select the time zone (-12 to +12). Press [Mode] to confirm.
The hour display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the hour, then press [Mode] to confirm. The minute display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the minutes, then press [Mode] to confirm.
The month and date display will flash. Press [Mode] to toggle between Month/Date and Date/Month display. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the date, then press [Mode] to confirm.
The year display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the year, then press [Mode] to confirm. The month display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the month, then press [Mode] to confirm.
The date display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the date, then press [Mode] to confirm. The weekday language display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to select the desired language from the following options:

Press [Mode] to confirm and exit the setting procedure.
Note: If no button is pressed for 20 seconds, the clock will automatically switch from setting mode to normal display mode.
Ensure the time zone is set correctly for your location; otherwise, the time may be inaccurate after receiving the signal.
3.2 Automatic Time Setting
The weather station automatically searches for the DCF signal for up to 7 minutes after a restart or battery change. You can also manually initiate the DCF signal search by pressing and holding the [Mode] button for 2 seconds.
The radio mast icon [Radio Tower Symbol] will flash during the search. Once the signal is acquired, the time and date will be set automatically. If no signal is found within 7 minutes, the icon will disappear, and the search will resume automatically in 1 hour.
At 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 AM, the station synchronizes with the DCF signal to correct any time deviations. If synchronization fails (radio mast icon disappears), it will retry at the next hour, up to five times.
For Your Information (FYI):
- A flashing radio mast icon indicates DCF signal reception has started.
- A continuously displayed radio mast icon indicates successful DCF signal reception.
- Maintain a minimum distance of 8 feet (approx. 2.5 m) from potential interference sources like TVs or computer monitors.
- Radio reception may be weaker in rooms with concrete walls or in offices. Place the unit near a window in such cases.
- During RC receive mode, only the [Snooze/Light] and [Set] buttons function. To access other functions, press the [▲] button to exit RC receiving mode.
4. Daily Alarm and Snooze Function Setting
4.1 Setting the Daily Alarm
Press the [Mode] button once to switch between calendar and alarm display. Press and hold the [Mode] button for 2 seconds until the alarm hour display flashes. Use the [▲] and [▼] buttons to set the hour. Press [Mode] to confirm. The minute display will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the minutes. Press [Mode] to confirm and exit the setting procedure.
FYI: If no button is pressed for 20 seconds, the clock automatically switches from setting mode to normal clock mode.
4.2 Switching ON/OFF the alarm signal
When the alarm shift switch is in the [ON] position, the [Bell Icon] appears next to the date, indicating the alarm function is active. When the switch is in the [OFF] position, the [Bell Icon] disappears, and the alarm function is inactive.
When the alarm rings, press any button except [Snooze/Light] to stop the alarm signal. The alarm does not need to be reactivated; it automatically resets to the previously set alarm time.
4.3 Snooze Function
Touch the [Snooze/Light] field or press the [Snooze/Light] button to activate the snooze mode. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.
5. Weather Forecast and Barometric Pressure
5.1 Weather Forecast
The weather station calculates an approximate 8-hour weather forecast based on barometric pressure trends. This forecast is a general indication and should be supplemented by local weather services for greater accuracy. Discrepancies between the station's forecast and local services should be resolved by following the local service's advice.
The weather station displays the following icons for the next 8-hour forecast (not current weather):
Forecast Icons: [Sun Icon] Sunny, [Partly Cloudy Icon] Slightly cloudy, [Cloudy Icon] Cloudy, [Rain Icon] Rainy, [Heavy Rain Icon] Heavy rainy, [Snow Icon] Snowy.
5.2 Barometric Pressure Display
The current barometric pressure is displayed automatically once readings are received. Press and hold the [Pressure/Trend] button for 2 seconds to enter settings. The pressure units will flash. Use the [▲] and [▼] buttons to select between "hPa/mb" or "inHg".
If the pressure reading is below the minimum range, "LLLL" will be displayed. If it's above the maximum range, "HHHH" will be displayed.
5.3 Barometric Trend Display
The station indicates the barometric pressure trend with the following symbols next to the weather forecast icon:
- [Up Arrow] The barometric pressure will rise.
- [Horizontal Arrow] The barometric pressure will remain constant.
- [Down Arrow] The barometric pressure will fall.
6. Lunar Phases and Tide Indicator
The weather station displays 12 different moon phases and 3 tide phases according to the set calendar.
Moon Phases: New moon, Waxing crescent, First quarter, Waxing gibbous, Full moon, Waning gibbous, Third quarter, Waning crescent.
7. Temperature, Humidity and Comfort Display
7.1 °C or °F Temperature Display
The temperature can be displayed in °C or °F. Briefly press the [Mode] button to switch between modes.
7.2 Current Temperature and Temperature Trend Display
After inserting batteries, the station measures the current temperature. The trend display shows a neutral temperature course.
The trend is determined as follows:
- If, after one hour, the temperature is more than 1°C higher than the initial measurement, a positive trend is shown [Up Arrow].
- If, after one hour, the temperature is more than 1°C lower than the initial measurement, a negative trend is shown [Down Arrow].
- If the temperature remains unchanged within an hour, a horizontal arrow is displayed, indicating a neutral trend. The measured temperature serves as the basis for future prognoses.
7.3 Outdoor Temperature & Frost Alert Settings
Press and hold the [Alert] button for 2 seconds until the temperature alert icon flashes. The upper limit icon will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the maximum temperature, then press [Alert] to confirm. The lower limit icon will flash. Use [▲] and [▼] to set the minimum temperature, then press [Alert] to confirm and exit.
FYI: Before setup, select the remote channel. Different channels can have different temperature alarm ranges.
7.4 Activating and Deactivating Temperature & Frost Alert
Press the [Alert] button to activate or deactivate the remote temperature alert. When active, the temperature alarm icon appears in the remote sensor bar.
If the remote channel temperature exceeds the set range, the alarm will activate. The station will sound a continuous alarm for one minute, five times. The temperature alarm icon will flash. If the alarm is triggered by the currently displayed temperature, the temperature value and the upper or lower limit icon will also flash.
When the remote sensor temperature is between +30°F and +37°F (or -1°C to +3°C), the frost alarm will activate, and the [Frost Icon] will flash.
FYI:
- If the temperature exceeds the upper alarm limit, the upper limit alarm activates, and the [High Temp Icon] flashes.
- If the temperature falls below the lower alarm limit, the lower limit alarm activates, and the [Low Temp Icon] flashes.
7.5 Comfort Display
Indoor comfort level is calculated based on indoor temperature and humidity, with 5 levels indicated:
[Smiling Face Icon] Comfortable, [Neutral Face Icon] Normal, [Slightly Frowning Face Icon] Cool, [Frowning Face Icon] Cold, [Very Frowning Face Icon] Too cold or too hot.
7.6 Current Humidity and Humidity Trend Display
After inserting batteries, the station measures current relative humidity. The trend display shows a neutral humidity course.
The trend is determined as follows:
- If, after one hour, relative humidity increases by more than 5% compared to the initial measurement, a positive trend is shown [Up Arrow].
- If, after one hour, relative humidity decreases by more than 5% compared to the initial measurement, a negative trend is shown [Down Arrow].
- If relative humidity remains unchanged within an hour, a horizontal arrow is displayed, indicating a neutral trend. The measured relative humidity serves as the basis for future prognoses.
7.7 Maximum/Minimum Temperature and Humidity
To view indoor/outdoor maximum and minimum temperature and humidity data, press the [MEM] button:
- Press once for maximum values.
- Press twice for minimum values.
- Press three times to return to current values.
To reset the maximum and minimum data, press and hold the [MEM] button for approximately 2 seconds. This resets all recorded data to the currently displayed values.
FYI: If the temperature reading is below the range, "LL.L" is displayed. If it's above the range, "HH.H" is displayed.
7.8 Remote Sensor Transmission
The weather station automatically starts receiving temperature and humidity data from the outdoor thermo sensor after batteries are inserted. The outdoor sensor also transmits this data automatically.
The weather station supports up to 3 wireless sensor channels. Ensure that multiple wireless sensors do not use the same channel simultaneously (channels 1, 2, and 3 are available).
Press the [Channel/Mode] key to switch between different remote temperature and humidity channels. When the [Auto Scan Icon] is displayed, the channel will switch automatically every 5 seconds.
If the weather station fails to receive transmission from the outdoor sensor (indicated by "--" on the LCD), press and hold the [Channel/Mode] button for 3 seconds to initiate manual reception. The RF icon [RF Symbol] will flash, and the station will receive data from the outdoor sensor.
FYI: When setting up wireless sensors on different channels, ensure the weather station's "REMOTE SENSOR" display is set to the same channel. If no signal is transmitted on a selected channel, "--" will appear. Only one remote sensor is included; ensure the weather station is set to the same channel as the remote sensor.
8. Backlight
If powered by batteries, touch the [Snooze/Light] field to activate the backlight for 15 seconds.
If powered by the adapter, the battery is disconnected, and the backlight remains on. Press the [Brightness/Mode] button to adjust brightness through 5 levels (4 brightness settings and off). You can also touch the [Snooze/Light] field to briefly activate the backlight for 15 seconds.
9. USB Charger
When using the USB charger to power an electronic device, ensure the weather station is powered by the main adapter, not batteries only.
10. Low Battery
If the [Battery Low Icon] appears, the batteries in the outdoor sensor need to be replaced as soon as possible.
