Google Home Voice Module User Manual

I. Sinric.com Operation (by Computer)

  1. Go to sinric.com.
  2. Create an account and log in.
  3. Click the "Add" button to create a smart home device.
  4. Input the Name, Description, and Type for the device.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for additional devices.
  6. To create more smart home devices, follow the same procedure.
  7. The information obtained here will be used for the Google Home integration.

II. Node MCB Config Setting (by Computer)

  1. Remove the module from the MCB and connect it to your computer via USB cable.
  2. Open the "Voice-Module-Config" program.
  3. Enter your router's SSID and password for the "Wifi Router" fields.
  4. Copy the "API Key" from your sinric.com account and paste it into the "Sinric Skill" field.
  5. Click the "Set Port" button to select the COM Port assigned to the USB driver.
  6. Choose the device type, such as KC868-H8 or KC868-H32, which you intend to use.
  7. Copy the Device IDs for each relay from your sinric.com account and paste them into the corresponding "Relay Device ID" fields.
  8. Click "1: Open Port".
  9. Click "2: Create String", then click "3: Send".
  10. Once the configuration is complete, place the module back into the MCB.
  11. Connect the MCB to the device it will control.
  12. Power on both the MCB and the connected device.

III. Google Actions Operation Setting (by Computer)

  1. Visit https://console.actions.google.com/.
  2. Click "Add/import project".
  3. Name your new project and click "Create Project".
  4. Wait a few seconds for the project to be created.
  5. After successful creation, click "Home Control".
  6. Click "Smart Home".
  7. Click "Name your Smart Home Action".
  8. Input a name for the "Display name" and click "Save".
  9. Navigate to "Overview" and select "Setup Account Linking".
  10. Select "OAuth" and "Authorization Code" as the linking type, then click "NEXT".
  11. Log in to your Sinric account.
  12. Generate Keys within your Sinric account.
  13. Copy the "Client ID" and "Client Secret" from Sinric.com.
  14. In the Google Actions console, paste the "Client ID" into the "Client ID" field.
  15. Copy the following URLs from Sinric.com:
    • Authorization URL: https://google.sinric.com/oauth
    • Token URL: https://google.sinric.com/token
  16. Paste these URLs into the corresponding "Authorization URL" and "Token URL" fields in the Google Actions console.
  17. Enter a name for "Configure your client" (e.g., "Sinric").
  18. Input "Test" for "Testing instructions".
  19. Click "Save".
  20. Select "No" for account creation options and click "TEST".
  21. Under the "Build" section in the left menu, select "Actions". Click "Add your first action".
  22. Copy the link: https://sinric.com/api/v1/googlehome/event. Paste it into the fulfillment URL field and click "Done".
  23. Click "TEST" to finish the operation setting.

IV. Google Home APP Operation Setting (by Mobile Phone)

  1. Open the "Google Home" app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the "Add" icon (usually a '+' symbol).
  3. Tap "Set up device".
  4. Tap "Works with Google".
  5. Search for and select "Dr. Kincony" (or the name associated with your Sinric account).
  6. Log in using your Sinric account credentials.
  7. The linking process should indicate success.
  8. Return to the Google Home app homepage.
  9. You can now control your devices via Google Home voice commands.
