The PSU-10 EVO is an inductive power supply designed and developed with high-quality audio components to enhance the performance of the DS-10 and the DS-10 PLUS.
The PSU-10 EVO comes in compact dimensions but delivers a great amount of power to bring you to a new level of musical pleasure and leverages unique features, including:
- The Dual Choke Hybrid technology inductive filter
- A 4-transformer design with three transformers dedicated to the power supply
- The ultra-low-noise linear voltage regulators

Front and Rear Panel
Front Panel
The front panel features the Gold Note logo and the model name "PSU-10 EVO". It also includes a STATUS LED.
Rear Panel
The rear panel includes the following connections and controls:
- PSU OUT: Output connector for the power supply cable to the connected device.
- GND: [Ground Symbol] Ground connection.
- [CE Mark]
- AC: AC power input connector.
- MASTER SWITCH: Power switch for the unit.
PLEASE NOTE: The LED is always ON when the PSU-10 EVO is in Standby (the Master Switch is ON).
Quick Start
Installing the PSU-10 EVO is simple and takes only a few quick steps:
- Disconnect the DS-10 by removing its AC power cord.
- Connect the PSU-10 EVO to the AC power outlet using the supplied power cord.
- Connect the PSU-10 EVO to the DS-10 using the supplied cable.
- Turn on the MASTER SWITCH on the rear panel of the PSU-10 EVO and then switch ON the DS-10.
Connection Diagram Description:
The diagram shows the rear panels of the DS-10 and PSU-10 EVO. The DS-10 has various inputs including 'PSU IN' and 'AC IN'. The PSU-10 EVO has 'PSU OUT', 'GND', 'AC', and a 'MASTER' switch. The connection involves the PSU-10 EVO's 'PSU OUT' connecting to the DS-10's 'PSU IN' using the dedicated cable, and the PSU-10 EVO's 'AC' input connecting to the mains power.
GND Ground Connector:
Every system operates in unique conditions due to electrical interaction. The GND connector on the PSU-10 allows for different configurations, including connecting it to the GND of the PH-10 or DS-10, to mitigate EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) and RFI (Radio-Frequency Interference) for optimal system performance.
Slave Mode Operation:
The PSU-10 EVO is designed to work in "slave mode" with the DS-10. The PSU-10 EVO will be controlled by the DS-10. When the DS-10 goes into STANDBY (unit is OFF with LED ON), the PSU-10 EVO will do the same automatically. The MASTER SWITCH on the PSU-10 EVO does not need to be turned off in normal standby operation.
To turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH of the PSU-10 EVO:
- Turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH on the DS-10.
- Turn OFF the MASTER SWITCH on the PSU-10 EVO.
How to Position PSU-10 EVO and DS-10:
To achieve the best performance, do not place the PSU-10 EVO on TOP of the DS-10. Instead, place it on the LEFT SIDE of the DS-10. Avoid placing the PSU-10 EVO too close to the DS-10 if possible.

Warranty
To validate the warranty, register the unit on the Gold Note internet web site within 15 days from purchase at www.goldnote.it/warranty. Registration may be refused if the unit is not registered correctly or purchased from a different country. The warranty does not cover: Tubes, Phono Cartridge Stylus, and Batteries.
