Installation Instructions
1. Power Off
Before installation, ensure the power supply is turned off. A warning is issued to consult a qualified electrician for installation and repair to avoid electric shock. Do not touch wiring terminals when the device is powered on.
2. Wiring
Wiring requires 16-18AWG solid/stranded copper wire with a tightening torque of 4.0 N·m (3.5 lb-in). Ensure the neutral and live wires are connected correctly. For safety, it is recommended to install a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) or residual current operated circuit breaker (RCBO) with a 10A rating before the BASICR2 or RFR2.

Device Offline
Q: Why is my device offline and uncontrollable?
A: Newly added devices may take 1-2 minutes to connect. If it remains offline, check the Wi-Fi LED indicator status:
- Green Wi-Fi indicator flashes once per second: Switch failed to connect to your Wi-Fi. Possible causes include incorrect Wi-Fi password, weak signal, interference, or 5GHz Wi-Fi incompatibility. Try moving the device closer to the router, re-adding it, or ensuring you are using a 2.4GHz network. Check if MAC address filtering is enabled on your router and disable it if necessary. As a last resort, try creating a Wi-Fi hotspot with your phone and adding the device again.
- Green indicator flashes twice per second: Device connected to Wi-Fi but not to the server. Ensure your network connection is stable. Frequent double flashes may indicate an unstable network. If the network is stable, try power cycling the switch.
