Self-cleaning

For fresh-tasting ice, it is recommended to perform self-cleaning at least once every month.

  1. Fill the reservoir up to the MAX line.
  2. Hold the CLEAN button for 3 seconds to start the self-cleaning cycle. The CLEAN indicator stays solid on.
  3. Once completed, the CLEAN indicator will turn off. Unhook the drainpipe and lay it down into a sink to drain.

Regular Cleaning of Reservoir and Exterior

To remove dirt or fibers, clean the reservoir once a week.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the ice basket. Rinse the ice basket with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth.
  2. Wipe the reservoir clean using a soft cloth moistened with water.

⚠️ For scale or mineral build-up, follow these steps for deep cleaning periodically or as needed. Do not use solvents or chemicals.

  1. Fill the reservoir with water to the MAX line.
  2. Add vinegar or a citric acid descaling agent. Let it sit for 12 hours or overnight.
  3. Hold CLEAN for 3 seconds to start the self-cleaning cycle. Repeat up to 3 cleaning cycles.
  4. Drain the mixture and run 3 cleaning cycles with fresh water for each rinse.

Storage
