The information covered in this use manual is based on the latest information at the time of its preparation. The screens, illustrations, etc. used in this manual are intended to provide a more detailed and intuitive explanation of the operation of the camera. Due to the differences in technology development and production batches, they may differ slightly from your actual digital video camera.
1. User Notice
This camera requires the use of a TF high-speed card (multimedia memory card) of U3 or higher.
Memory Card Instructions:
- When the memory card is first used, please ensure it is formatted, especially if it contains data or other images that the camera cannot identify.
- Please turn off the camera before inserting or removing the memory card.
- If the memory card's performance degrades, a new memory card may be needed. Repeated use of a memory card will degrade its performance.
- The memory card is a precision electronic device. Do not bend the memory card and avoid dropping or stressing it.
- Do not place the memory card in a strong electric or magnetic environment, such as near a speaker or television receiver.
- Do not use or leave the memory card in an overheated or under-cooled environment.
- Keep the memory card clean and avoid touching any liquid. If the memory card comes into contact with liquid, wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
- When the memory card is not in use, place it in its protective sleeve.
- Please note that the memory card may become hot after prolonged use; this is normal.
- Do not use the memory card with other digital cameras. If you wish to use a different memory card with your camera, format it first.
- Do not use a memory card formatted on another digital video camera or card reader.
- If the memory card is in one of the following conditions, the recorded data may be damaged:
- The memory card is not used properly.
- The power is turned off or the memory card is removed while recording, deleting (formatting), or reading.

Indicator Lights:
- Working Indicator: LED flashes during recording; LED turns off when the camera is turned off.
- Charging Indicator: LED is on during charging; LED is off after charging is complete.
5. Button Instruction
- Power Button: Long press to turn the camera on/off. Short press to turn Wi-Fi on/off. Used to navigate down in the menu.
- OK Button: Starts/stops recording (including slow recording, time-lapse video, loop recording, continuous shooting, timing, and loop). Long press to enter the setup menu in recording or photo modes. Acts as a selection button when used with the power button in the setup menu. Short press to confirm. Long press to enter the file play preview list. Short press to play/pause video.
- M Button: Short press to switch between modes or setup menus. Long press to switch screens (e.g., front/rear display).

The photo interface displays:

6.3. Shortcut Mode
6.3.1 Accessing Shortcut Menu: After turning on the camera, long press the video confirmation button to display the shortcut menu interface. You can also click the middle of the bottom to pop out the shortcut menu and perform operations. Press the M key or click the 'X' icon in the upper right corner to exit.
6.3.2 Switching Modes: After turning on the camera, slide the screen left or right in the middle of the touch screen to switch between recording and photo modes.
6.3.3 Quick Operation: Short press the M key to switch to camera mode. Alternatively, slide the video/photo mode on the screen. Long press the video button to display the shortcut menu (or tap the screen). Press M to exit or click the 'X' icon in the upper right corner.

Basic Function Operation
1. Playback, Recording Settings, Photo Settings: Shortly press the M key after powering on to cycle through modes. Press the OK button to confirm. Alternatively, touch the screen or click the icon in the lower-left corner of the video preview interface to enter playback state directly. Click the icon in the lower-right corner to directly enter video or photo settings. Press the M key or the power button to select playback, recording settings, or photo settings.
2. How to Delete Video/Photo Files:
- a. Video File Delete:
- Button Operation: Short press M to switch to 'Playback' mode. Press OK to enter the 'Video playback preview interface'. Short press the power button to select the delete icon. Long press OK to confirm entering the file selection for deletion. Short press OK to select the file(s) to be deleted. Press OK to enter the delete confirmation interface. Use the power button (direction button) to select the delete option and press OK to confirm deletion.
- Touch Screen Operation: In the video playback review interface, tap the delete icon [?️], choose the file(s), tap the delete confirmation icon [?️], and then tap 'Delete' when the prompt appears.
- b. Picture File Delete:
- Button Operation: Short press M to switch to 'Playback' mode. Press OK to enter the 'Video replay view interface'. Short press the power button to select 'Photo playback review interface' and press OK to confirm. Press the power button to select the delete icon [?️]. Long press OK to enter the delete interface. Press the power button to select the delete item and press OK to confirm deletion.
- Touch Screen Operation: In the 'Picture playback preview interface', tap the delete icon [?️], select the file(s) to be deleted, tap the delete confirmation icon [?️], and then tap 'Delete' when the prompt appears.
3. Wi-Fi Function: Short press the power button to turn Wi-Fi on or off. The Wi-Fi name will vary for each device, and the default password is '1234567890'.
Computer Download Photo/Video: After connecting the camera to a computer and entering removable disk mode, a removable disk will appear in 'My Computer'. Captured photos and videos are stored in the 'JPG\VIDEO' directory. Copy these files to your computer's hard drive. Do not disconnect the USB connection during file download. Do not insert or remove the memory card during USB connection to avoid data loss. If the computer sets the USB connection as camera mode, it may not detect the removable disk.
WIFI APP Connection
Before using the Wi-Fi function, install the 'iSmart DV' APP on your smartphone or tablet.
- For Android: Search for 'iSmart DV' on Google Play and install.
- For iOS: Download from the App Store by searching for 'iSmart DV'.
Connection Steps:
- After turning on the camera, short press the power button. A message 'WIFI Waiting Connection' and a Wi-Fi icon will appear on the screen.
- On your phone, open Wi-Fi settings, search for the Wi-Fi name 'Action Cam_xxx' (where xxx is a unique identifier), and connect. The default password is '1234567890'.
- Open the 'iSmart DV' app to preview the live image, take photos, and manage files (playback/delete).
- You can scan the provided QR code with your mobile phone to download the app.
