Unpacking and Initial Setup

The printer package typically includes the printer unit, power cord, and documentation. The printer weighs between 16-18 kg (36-40 lb).

Step 1: Carefully unpack the printer and its accessories. Place the printer on a stable surface.

Step 2: Connect the power cord to the printer and a power outlet. The printer requires 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz.

Step 5: Attach the ribbon core to the ribbon spindle.

Step 7: Thread the label media through the printer's platen roller and printhead assembly.

Step 8: Ensure the media path is clear and the sensors are properly aligned with the media.

Step 9: Secure the media and ribbon using the tension guides.

Step 10: Close the printer cover securely.

Step 11: Perform a calibration. The printer may automatically calibrate, or you may need to initiate it through the setup utility or printer menu.

Step 12: Test print a label to ensure correct alignment and print quality.

Step 13: For printers with an external label dispenser or rewinder, follow the specific instructions for attaching and using these accessories.
